Eligibility Criteria For NIT Patna Ph.D. Admission Jan 2025

• All the candidates applying for Ph.D. admission in NIT Patna are required to have M.Tech/M.E/M.Arch/M>PLanning or equivalent degree with them with a minimum of 6.5 CGPA or 60% in aggregate marks from a recognized university.

• MCA/ M.Com/MBA/ B.Arch/ B.Tech or equivalent degree is also important from an applicable discipline with a minimum of 60% or first class degree.

• The Valid GATE/ UGC-NET/ CSIR-NET scorecard is also required.

• There is a relaxation of 0.5% for the SC/ST/PWD categories.

• Proof of qualifying GATE/ UGC-NET or similar is required for all the candidates.

• In the case of sponsored candidates, GATE/ NET is exempted.

NIT Patna Ph.D. Admission Procedure

The National Institute of Technology, Patna will make the admissions for Ph.D. based on a written test followed by interviews, and the minimum eligibility criteria of the applicant. The admission committee will look after it.
