Candidates can apply for the NHB Senior Horticulture Officer Recruitment 2025-26 on the official website using the processes outlined below:

•  Now, click on "Filling Up of Positions in the National Horticulture Board"
•  In the "Latest News" area, select NHB 2025-24 Registration Open (Click Here).
•  Then select "New Candidate Register Here."
•  Register by entering the required information and submitting it. An exclusive ID and password will be given to you. 
• Now, complete the application form and upload the relevant papers.
•  Pay the application cost, then submit.

 Age Limit

NHB's official notification specifies the maximum age limit as of the online application process's closing date. The candidates' ages should not surpass thirty years. However, candidates from reserved categories have received age relaxation

Educational  Qualifications

Applicants for the position must have a Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Horticulture, Food Technology, Post-harvest Technology, Agriculture Economics, Agriculture Engineering, or Food Sciences from a recognized university, with a preference for a Master's degree in the same subject.

Selection Process

The selection process for the NHB Senior Horticulture Officer Recruitment 2025 includes both objection and descriptive papers. Applicants will be evaluated over two stages:

• Stage I: Computer-based Exam (150 marks)
• Stage II: Descriptive Paper (100 marks)

Those who pass the Stage 1 Exam will be eligible for the Stage 2 Exam

Exam Pattern

The Stage I and II Exam Patterns for the position of Senior Horticulture Officer is provided below:

• Number of Questions: 150.
• Total marks: 150.
• Negative marking: None.
• Duration: 2 hours.

Candidates will be shortlisted for Stage II in a ratio of 1:10, or approximately ten times the number of openings in each category, based on their performance in Stage I.
