NBE FDST Exam 2024 | Admit Card Exam Dates, Eligibility Criteria, Result 2024

The National Board of Examinations will administer the Foreign Dental Screening Test (FDST) 2024 to BDS graduates on January 20. The NBE FDST 2024 admit card will be available on the official website, natboard.edu.in, beginning January 15.

The screening test will be performed for Indian residents or Overseas residents of India who have primary dental qualifications from dental institutes outside India. The test will be held solely in Delhi NCR.

Students can find the exam schedule and test-day instructions in the information bulletin published on the official website.

The screening test for Indian citizens/OCI possessing PG Diploma/Postgraduate Dental credentials conferred by dental institutions outside India shall be administered separately, the details of which shall be communicated in due course

How to Download NBE FDST Exam Admit Card 2024?

Steps to fill out the application form:

• Visit the official website natboard.edu.in.
• Click on the NBE FDST 2024 hall ticket site.
• Use the application Id and password as the required login credentials.
• The NBE FDST 2024 admit card will be available for download.
• Save the hall ticket PDF and make a printed copy of it.

Preparation for Examination Day:

• It is recommended to download and print the admit card right away.
• A few extra copies of the Admit Card should be kept on hand because they will be utilized during admission and counseling sessions.
• Credentials to be taken to the exam center should be prepared.
• The previously listed stationary-related items should be kept on hand.
• Admit card and prospectus will contain information on attire, which should be adhered to.
• Items that cannot be brought to the exam center or are prohibited should be noted.

Upon Approaching the Exam Site:

• Arrive at the exam center at least one hour before the time shown on your admission card.
• Please eat a full breakfast or a light lunch before leaving the location, depending on the program.
•  Drink plenty of water; when the summer heat rises, dehydration might set in, harming your exam performance.
• Have a cookie or a chocolate right before entering the center; this prevents hypoglycemia and allows you to stay attentive longer, increasing your outcomes.
• If the center is crowded, do not wait until the last minute for the entry and security checks.
• The center will not allow you to enter after the doors have closed.

After Approaching the center:

• If mentioned, candidates will be hand-frisked, photographed, or videographed before entering the center.
• After completing all requirements, candidates should enter the allotted hall and take their assigned sea

• Smoking is not allowed.
• Misbehavior of any type can lead to the candidate's expulsion.
• Caught copying. Helping with copying will result in the cancellation of the answer sheet / candidacy.
• Marking the answer sheet or question paper in any form will result in the cancelation of the exam for that candidate..
• When candidates enter the center, they should find their assigned hall and seat. 
• No candidate should be permitted to leave the examination hall before the end of half of the time given for the relevant paper.

Application fees

To apply, pay a non-refundable fee of Rs.11,800/- (including 18% GST) by NEFT or IMPS to the Dental Council of India bank account.

Eligibility Criteria

NBE has established specific eligibility requirements for candidates wishing to participate in the FDST 2024. Candidates who meet the eligibility requirements can take the screening test. If the candidate fails to meet the qualifying conditions at any point, his or her candidature will be canceled. The eligibility criteria are as follows:

• Nationality: Candidates with Indian nationality, Overseas Citizens of India (OCI), or Person of Indian Origin (POI) nationality can apply for FDST 2024.
• Educational Requirements: Candidates who hold a primary dental degree, PG Diploma, or any Post Graduate dental qualification from any dental institute outside India and wish to register with any State Dental Council of India or for any other purpose as prescribed by the Dental Council of India may apply for FDST 2024.
