Candidates from general category backgrounds or other states should pay Rs. 500. If the candidate hails from an MP reserved category background, he or she should pay Rs. 250. The candidates should undergo the following tests and examinations to be selected for the post:
Medical Test
The candidates should undergo the preliminary examination, and only those who pass the examination should appear for the main exam. Then, the candidates who pass the Mains test are called for an interview, a physical ability test, and a medical test.
The exam is held in offline mode, and they should complete every paper in 2 hours. They should answer 200 objective-type questions from subjects such as general studies and aptitude. Each question carries one mark, and marks are not deducted if the candidate answers it incorrectly.
Physical Standard Test
The minimum expected height in the UR, SC, and OBC categories is 163 cm for males and 150 m for females. The minimum expected height for ST candidates is 152 cm and 145 cm for female candidates. The minimum chest size for men is 74 to 84 cm, and for women, it is 74 to 79 cm. The candidate should walk for 4 hours and 25 km to test physical efficiency. This test applies to men only.
