IIFT - Indian Institute of Foreign Trade is a public institution that offers several courses and an MBA is one of those courses. IIFT conducts an exam for MBA every year. This year the date of the exam is 2 December 2025. There are a total of 420 seats in the MBA (IB) program. Out of them, 220 seats for IIFT Delhi, and 200 seats are for the IIFT Kolkata campus. Candidates could fill the application form from 6th August to 14th September. The applicants who will successfully qualify for the written test will be eligible for further rounds.
Further rounds include a written test, group discussion followed by a personal interview. The ratio of selected to shortlisted candidates is around 1:5. The exam will be in the English language. The examination period is 2 hours. The exam pattern is the same as the previous year.
The application fee for the exam is 1650 Rs for General, OBC, and 825 Rs for PWD candidates.
Indian applicants must have completed their graduation (at least 3 years) and have got at least 50% in the graduation (General) or 45% (reserved categories), while foreign nationals are only eligible with a valid GMAT score.
Applicants can download their admit cards from the official website from November 16, 2025, i.e. The admit cards will be available to download for 17 days i.e. 2 December 2025 (date of examination). To download the admit card aspirants have to go to the website and enter the required details (username and password). Once the details have been entered and accepted by the system, aspirants can download the IIFT Admit Card. After downloading the admit card, candidates should take out the print of the IIFT Admit Card.
The printout of the admitting card has to be carried to the exam center on the day of the examination. An admit card is necessary to appear for the examination. Along with an admitting card, candidates are also required to carry original photo id proof issued by the government and a passport size photograph. It means you are not allowed to appear for the exam unless you have the admit card with you.
The result is expected to be released in the first week of January. Aspirants will get the scorecard. Once the scorecard is out, candidates can download the same by logging on to the website. The date of birth and roll number is required to download the scorecard. Based on the score, candidates can move to further rounds i.e. Group Discussion and Personal Interview.
