Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has finally released the official notification for the registrations of Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) 2025 from 5th of February,2025 till 14th March 2025. As per the notification released, CTET 2025 examination will be held on July 7th, 2025,(Sunday) and will be available in 20 languages in 97 cities of the country.
Students can now apply for the online application process for CTET 2025 July examination would commence at the official website ctet.nic.in. Therefore all the willing candidates can register themselves and fill the application form before the last date.
CTET exam is conducted to qualify candidates for teaching professions. For classes I to V, candidates are needed to qualify CTET Paper I and for Classes VI-VII, candidates are required to qualify Paper-II. The candidates are directed to go through the detailed notification before filling the online application form and check the eligibility criteria before applying for the exam.

Eligibility Criteria for CTET July 2025
➤ CTET July 2025 Secondary Stage (Class I to V)
- Passed intermediate (10+2) with minimum 50% marks and passed or appeared in the final year of 2- years Diploma in Elementary Education. OR
- Passed intermediate (10+2) with minimum 45% and passed or appeared in the final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education as per NCTE 2002 norms. OR
- Passed intermediate (10+2) with minimum 50% marks and passed or appeared in the final year of 2- year Bachelors of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed). OR
- Passed intermediate (10+2) with minimum 50% marks and passed or appeared in the final year of 2- years Diploma in Education (Special Education. OR
- Graduation with minimum 50% marks and 1- year B.Ed examination. OR
- Undergraduate program and passed or appearing in the final year of 2- years Diploma in Elementary Education.
➤ CTET July 2025 Secondary Stage (Class VI to VIII )
- Must hold a bachelor's degree and or appear in the final year of 2- years Diploma in Elementary Education. OR
- Undergraduate program with minimum 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1 year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed). OR
- Undergraduate program with minimum 45 % marks and passed or appearing in 1 year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed) in accordance with NCTE norms. OR
- Passed intermediate (10+2) with minimum 50% marks and passed or appeared in the final year of 4 -years in Bachelors of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed). OR
- Passed intermediate (10+2) with minimum 50% marks and passed or appeared in the final year of 4 -year B.A./ B.Sc.Ed or / B.A.Ed/ B.Sc.Ed.OR
- Undergraduate program with minimum 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1 -year B.Ed / (B.Ed special education)
CTET July 2025 Online Form: Steps to Apply
- On the home page, click on the activated link to Fill Online Application Form for CTET 2025.
- On the new window that opens, for new users, click on Apply. (For registered candidates, candidates can simply sign in).
- Once you register, you would be sent an OTP on the email id provided. Complete the registration and fill in the details in the online application form.
- Upload the scanned documents of your photograph and signature.
- In the next step, the candidate needs to submit the application fee. Fees for only Paper I or Paper II is Rs. 700 for General candidates and Rs. 350 for reserved categories. As for candidates who wish to appear for both Paper I and Paper II, the fees if Rs. 1200 for the general category and Rs. 600 for reserved category.
- Once the fees are paid, print the confirmation page that would be generated. Candidates need not send the confirmation page. Please keep the same for correspondence purposes. The online application is complete only once the confirmation page is generated.
