Today, December 18, 2026, the Bombay High Court recruitment will shut the registration window for the recruitment of stenographers (Grade 3), junior clerks, and peons or hamers. Interested parties and candidates should complete the application form by 6 p.m. today.

Eligibility for Bombay High Court Recruitment 2026

Candidates should review the eligibility requirements listed below.

  • Candidates must hold a degree from an accredited university. (Preference will be given to candidates with a law degree.)
  • Adequate understanding of the district court's regional language.
  • Candidates must be at least 18 years old and no older than 38 years old in the case of the general category, and 43 years old in the case of candidates from the Schedule Caste (SC), Schedule Tribe (ST), or Other Backward Class (OBC).
  • The maximum age limit shall not apply to state or central government employees who apply through the right channels.
  • The candidate must have no more than two living children born after 2006.
  • A candidate is ineligible for an appointment if he or she has been convicted of an offense involving moral turpitude, or if he or she is or has been permanently banned or disqualified from appearing for examinations or selections conducted by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) or any State Public Service Commission.
