The application fee to be paid is Rs. 600 for SC, ST, PwBD or females. The candidates belonging to the general category should pay Rs. 1200. They can pay online using a credit or debit card or UPI.

Eligibility criteria

Age limit

The candidate should be at least 21 as of January 1, 2025, and the upper age limit is 37 years as of January 1, 2025. Age relaxation is provided for candidates belonging to special categories. For females, the maximum age limit is 40 years.

Educational Requirement

The candidate should be a graduate of any recognised university or institute. The speed of stenography should be 150 words per minute in Hindi. The speed of computer typing should be 35 words per minute in both Hindi and English. The candidate should also possess a certificate in computer courses approved by AICTE or by the department of Electronic Accreditation of Computer Courses, D.O.E.A.C.C., NIELIT, or any other subjects equivalent to the O-level exam. The candidate should otherwise possess a computer proficiency test.

The candidates should undergo tests such as preliminary exams, Hindi and English typing tests, steno skill tests, or tests in MS Word, and a round of personal interviews.
