Eligibility Criteria

Who is qualified for the examination?

• A candidate with a minimum of 50% marks in a higher secondary examination, i.e., 10+2 or any other equivalent examination,.
• Candidates appearing for 12th during the academic year 2026-27
• A concession of 5% marks is offered to candidates belonging to SC/ST and PWD.

Age Criteria

Minimum age as of January 1, 2026: 17 years 

Other Requirement

• She or he should be an Indian citizen of Indian origin.
• He or she should be a permanent resident of Bihar.
• Currently, the applicant should be living in Bihar only.

Admission Process

A D.El.Ed. Online Joint Examination is held by the Bihar School Examination Committee, and a merit list is prepared on the basis of marks obtained. The eligible candidates can secure admission in any government or non-governmental affiliated teacher’s Institutions in Bihar.
