Varanasi, the most sacred land of India is not only renowned for its spirituality but also for the university located in the city,i.e BHU. Banaras Hindu University (BHU) is a public central university that conducts various entrance examinations to provide admissions into UG and PG courses. The two most common entrance exams conducted by BHU are:

1- UET: Undergraduate Entrance Exam

2- PET: Postgraduate Entrance Exam

UET entrance exam is conducted for providing admissions into the UG courses whereas PET is held to give admissions in the postgraduate courses.

BHU UET PET Application Form 2026

The Banaras Hindu University will issue the application forms for BHU UET PET 2026 in online mode on the official website of BHU,i.e. bhuonline.in very soon. Candidates who are willing to experience BHU Undergraduate Entrance Test (UET) and Postgraduate Entrance Test (PET) 2026 are obligated to fill the application forms. The BHU UET PET Application Forms of BHU UET 2026 is expected to will be released between the 10th of February till 20th of February, 2026 in order to provide admissions into undergraduate and postgraduate courses. The applicants must meet the eligibility criteria of BHU UET/PET 2026 before filling the form.

The applicants must be acknowledged about the application form fees so as to complete the  BHU UET/PET 20 exam. The application fee for BHU UET PET 2026 is categorized below:

Steps to fill BHU UET PET Application Form 2026:

Step 1- Registration:  

The first step towards filling the application forms for BHU UET PET 2026 is to click on the link “Apply for admission”. After that, click on the notification “register yourself” by entering your email id, password, personal details and then click on the sign-up button.

Step 2- Selection of Course:

After the registration, candidates have to opt for any course of their choice and check its eligibility criteria that whether they are satisfying it or not to pursue that particular course.

Step 3- Analyse the eligibility criteria and add the course:

Here the students are prescribed to examine the eligibility criteria for pursuing the course and after that add the desired course.  

Step 4- Fill up the necessary details:

In this step, candidates are asked to fill in all the necessary details that are required to fill up the application form like name, address, email id, mobile number etc.

Step 5- Choose the examination centers:

After filling in all the necessary personal details, candidates are given the chance to choose any of the examination centers of their choice. Then, click and save.

Step 6- Upload Documents and review your application form:

At this stage, aspirants are required to upload the scanned images of their passport-sized photographs and signature. After that, review your whole application form to check that all the mentioned details are correct or not.

Step 7- Payment:

At last, candidates need to make payment for the registered application form for BHU UET PET 2026. Payment can be done through net banking, credit/debit cards, or challan.

Eligibility Criteria for BHU UET PET 2026

1- For BHU UET 2026:

For enrolling admission in the undergraduate courses of Banaras Hindu University (BHU), it is obligatory for them to have a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate from any recognized board. Aspirants above 22 years of age are not eligible to apply for the course.

2- For BHU PET 2026:

To get admissions into the postgraduate courses of this reputed university, candidates are required to score a minimum of 50% of aggregate marks in any Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from any authorized and affiliated university.
