Application Fee for NORCET 2025:

• For General Category/OBC: Rs. 3000.
• For SC/ST, EWS, Rs. 2400
• PwD: No fees
• The amount should be paid through an online mode such as NET, UPI, credit, or debit card.

Eligibility Criteria for NORCET 2025:

The candidate should pass B.Sc. (hons) or B.Sc. Nursing from the Indian Nursing Council or State Nursing Council, a recognised institute.

Or the candidate should have a B.Sc. from a Post Council, State Nursing Council-recognised institute, or university. Otherwise, the candidate should be registered as a nurse and midwife with the State or Indian Nursing Council.

Or the candidate should have completed a Diploma in General Nursing with two years of work experience in at least a 50-bed hospital.

Age limit

• The minimum expected age is 18 years, and the upper age limit is 30 years.
• Age relaxation is provided to candidates belonging to special categories.
• Age relaxation is provided according to category: 
• SC/ST: 5 years
• PwD category: 10 years, but the maximum age of the candidate should not be more than 56 years.
• Age relaxation for OBC: 3 years
• PwD + OBC: 13 years, but the age should be more than 56 years.
• PwD + SC/ST: 15 years, but the age should not exceed 56 years.
• Ex-servicemen: 5 years
• Civil employees of the Central Government who have provided more than 3 years of service: 8 years
• SC/ST candidates who are civil employees of the central government providing 3 years of continuous service: 10 years.

Procedure of Examination or Selection

The examination is conducted in two phases, namely:

• Prelims
• Mains
• Document Verification
• Medical Examination

Exam Pattern for Prelims, NORCET 2025:

• Duration of the test: 3 hours

Method of Evaluation

• Every question carries 1 mark.
• For every incorrect answer, 1/3 mark is deducted.

Exam Pattern for Mains Exam NORCET 2025:

• Duration of the test: 90 minutes
• Types of Questions: Multiple-Choice Questions
• Subject: Functional Subject or (Graduation or Diploma Level Nursing Course)
• Method of evaluation: 1 mark for every correct answer, and 1/3 mark deduction for every wrong answer.

How do I apply online for the NORCET 2025 exam?

1. Visit the official site at https://www.aiimsexams.ac.in/ or AIIMS.
2. The applicants should register their names first.
3. Then go to the ‘New Registration’ section and click the ‘Click Here’ button.
4. Then, fill out the form to register your name.
5. After registering your name, login with your roll number., registration ID, and password.
6. Enter the required details, such as personal information, educational qualifications, etc.
7. Then verify the accuracy of the information.
8. Upload different documents, such as marksheets, photographs, signatures, certificates, etc.
9. The application fees should be paid online.
10. Save a copy of the printout for future use.
