TS SET Results Declared

To ascertain a Telangana student's eligibility for an assistant professor or lectureship at a Telangana university or college, Osmania University will administer the State Eligibility Test (TS-SET) in the first or second week of March 2025.

TS Eligibility Criteria: TS-SET Exam 2025

The following are the requirements for eligibility for TS SET 2025-26:

To be eligible to apply for the TS SET, candidates must have at least a 55% (without rounding off) Master's degree (i.e., M.A., M.Sc., M.Com, MBA, MLISC, M.Ed, M.PEd, MCJ, LLM, MCA, and M.Tech (CSE & IT only)).

  • Candidates may also apply for the TS-SET exam if they are enrolled in a Master's program if they have taken their qualifying examinations but have not yet received their results, or if their qualifying examinations have been postponed.

  • It is advised that applicants only take the post-graduation course.

Application for the TS SET Exam

Only online applications via the TS-SET website, www.telanganaset.org, are accepted from candidates registering for the exam.

Candidates need to have scanned copies of the following paperwork before applying:

  • A passport-sized JPG image that is between 20 and 40 kilobytes in size. The photo's dimensions should be 3.5 cm in width and 4.5 cm in height.

  •   Signature in JPG file size ranging from 5 to 20 KB. The signature's dimensions should be 1.5 cm in height by 3.5 cm in breadth.

  • Caste certificate in JPG format, ideally between 50 and 300 kb in size.

  • During the online registration process, candidates must provide all needed information and make the payment.

  • After completing the application, candidates must save a copy for their records.

Exam Pattern for TS-SET

Two papers will make up the TS-SET exam. The exam will consist solely of objective-type questions and last three hours in a single sitting.

Paper I's question paper is the same for all subjects and will be available in both Telugu and English. Certain subjects' Paper II will also be bilingual. All required questions spanning the complete curriculum will be included in Paper II.

There will be fifty multiple-choice questions (MCQs) in Paper 1, each worth two marks. The purpose of the questions is to gauge the candidate's aptitude for both teaching and research.

Paper II will have 100 required objective-style questions worth two marks each, all of which will be related to the candidate's selected subject.
