UP Police Constable 2025 Selection Process

The selection process for UP Police Constable Recruitment 2025 will be divided into four stages. An applicant will be selected for the role if they make it through every round. The UP Police Constable selection procedure is outlined here.

UP Police Constable Selection Process
Stage I - Written Exam	The written test will be an objective type paper administered online. Candidates need to score the required qualifying marks to make it to the next stage of the selection process.
Stage II - Document Verification	All candidates who are called up for the document verification round will have to produce the certificates as uploaded at the time of registration. The candidates will have to provide documentation of their educational background, category certificate, etc. Candidates will be permitted to move on to the next round of the selection process once the accuracy of the submitted papers has been confirmed. The documents are as follows: Educational Certificates Voter ID Card Aadhaar Card Driving License PAN Card Caste Certificate Domicile Certificate Birth Certificate Passport-size photograph Employment Registration Certificate Other Relevant Documents
Stage III - Physical Measurements Test	The board will examine the candidate's physical measurements at this stage. They won't be permitted to move on to the next round of the selection process unless they fulfill the board's requirements.
Stage IV - Physical Efficiency Test	The board will assess the candidate's physical fitness at the last stage of the selection process. Candidates who complete all needed activities will be considered eligible for the post of UP Police Constable.

The UP Police Constable examination will be a written objective test. To advance to the next step of the selection process, candidates must pass this level. The exam pattern for UP Police Constable is shown below.

• The exam will be a written objective exam.
• The examination will consist of four papers (General Hindi, General Knowledge, Numerical and Mental Ability Test, and Mental Aptitude / Intelligence /Reasoning).
• The exam will be worth 300 points and will consist of 150 questions.
• Each question will be worth two points.
• Every incorrect response will result in a 0.5 penalty. Candidates should only respond to questions about which they are confident. Incorrect answers would result in lower grades.
