BSSC CGL Result 2025 - Important Dates

Candidates who took the Bihar SSC CGL test for the 2022 cycle may be looking forward to the result announcement dates. However, the Board officially announced the BSSC CGL Mains Result 2025 on September 27, 2025, for those who took the Mains exam on July 27, 2025.

How to Download the BSSC CGL Mains Result 2025?

Candidates who previously qualified for the Bihar SSC CGL Prelims exam 2025 were shortlisted for the Mains exam. Now, they will be able to download their Bihar SSC CGL Mains Result 2025 for Advt No. 01/22  using the steps mentioned below.

•  Visit the BSSC official portal
• On the website, locate the Notice Board tab.
• Once the page loads, select the link ' Click Here To View List of Shortlisted Candidates for Scrutiny of Certificates/Documents (Advt No.- 01/22, Post - 3rd Graduate Level Combined Competitive (MAIN) Examination-2022).
• The BSSC CGL merit list shall appear on the screen. Press F5 to enter your roll number and locate your BSSC CGL result.
• Download the BSSC CGL Mains Result PDF for future information.

Criteria for Eligibility:

• Qualification Education: Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree from a recognized university or an equivalent level.
• Age Limit: The minimum age limit is normally 21 years, while the maximum age limit might vary depending on the candidate's category and specific positions applied for. The upper age limit may be relaxed for candidates who fall into one of the reserved categories.
• Nationality: Candidates must be nationals of India.
• Domicile: Some roles may need candidates to be Bihar residents.

Application Fees

As of my most recent update in January 2022, the particular application fees for the BSSC CGL (Bihar Staff Selection Commission Combined Graduate Level) examination may differ depending on the candidate's category. Fees are subject to change from one recruitment cycle to the next.

The application fees for past BSSC CGL application seasons were approximately:

• For General Category candidates, the salary ranges between Rs. 750 and Rs. 900.
• Around Rs. 200 to Rs. 300 for SC/ST candidates.
• Fees for OBC Category candidates are similar to those for General Category candidates, ranging between Rs. 750 and Rs. 900.
• Candidates with physical disabilities are often exempted from paying application fees or awarded a reduced cost amount.

Exam format:

The BSSC CGL exam format typically comprises of two or three stages:

Examination Preliminary:

• Questions of an objective nature
• General Awareness, General Intelligence and reasoning, Numerical Aptitude, and English Comprehension are the subjects covered.
• Typically held for the purpose of screening

Examining for the Mains:

• Descriptive questions and topical articles
• Subjects and curriculum differ based on the employment role.
