Vidya Academy of Science and Technology was established in the year of 2003 and is situated in Thrissur, Kerala. All India Council For Technical Education (AICTE) approved the college. Vidya Academy of Science and Technology is affiliated with the University of Calicut, APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University and it is a private college of science & technology. The college aims to provide higher education with quality to the students in the field of science and technology. 

The college offers graduate and postgraduate courses in various fields to the students. Bachelor of Technology in Civil Engineering, Computer Science Engineering, Electrical, And Electronics Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering. Master of Technology in Computer Science And Engineering, Power Electronics, Structural Engineering, Embedded Systems. Master of Computer Application. Along with that, it also offers B.Teh Lateral and MCA Lateral courses. The selection of the students is based on the entrance examination marks scored by the students.
