SP Memorial Institute of Technology

SP Memorial Institute of Technology (SPMIT) is the college funded by SP Memorial Educational Fund. The college is located at NH2 and the exact address of the college is G.T Road,  Kaushambi in Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh. The college SPMIT is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and affiliated to A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow.

Both undergraduate and postgraduate courses are offered under the guidance of Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam University.

 Library-

The Library of SPMIT is huge and has a rich collection of more than 10,000 books of more than 1500 categories.  Journals, corporate magazines and other reading materials are also accessible to students. Book Bank facility is also made available for students. Students can gain online information in various fields through the high-speed internet.

SPMIT has numerous laboratories and workshops. This facility helps students to experiment and perform the things they learn in theory.

• Technovision:

With the association of Academy of Sciences (NASI), every year the college runs a program called Tech Fest which lasts for 3 days.

• Personality Development Program(PDP):

The college organises Personality Development classes to brush the students so that they can become capable Entrepreneurs. The program is run by the faculty members of the college.

• Innovation Classes:

The college also organises Innovation classes where students get the freedom to give wings to their imagination. They can freely discuss innovative ideas and work on them. Innovation classes are organised for every department of the institute.

• Sports Hub:

The college is well known for its sports facilities. The infrastructure of the college is designed with excellent facilities of sports for students. Various competitions are also held in the college to maintain a healthy environment.

• Transportation:

Students also get the advantage of bus services. The buses of school provide service to major part of the Allahabad. In total, the college has its own 4 buses with 25-30 seats. These buses are also used to Industrial visit and small trips.

• Conference Hall:

The college has an air-conditioned conference hall with permanent audio, video and projection system. Externals lecturers often visit the campus to impart knowledge to students. Departmental and other college activities are organised in the conference hall of the campus. It can accommodate up to 200 members.
