About National Institute of Technology, Calicut:

The National Institute of Technology was established in 1961 and it is located in Calicut, Kerala. The institute is approved by the AICTE and UGC. NITC developed a training and placement department for providing placement opportunities to the students in 1983. The institute also started a department of architecture in 1990. NITC is one of the best education institutes for pursuing undergraduate and postgraduate courses in the field of technology and science. 

The area of NITC is spread over 300 acres in the foothills of the western ghats. The institute has the most beautiful campus with excellent IT infrastructure. The institute aims to provide high-quality technical education to the students that want to provide basic managerial skills and engineering principles to the students. NITC also plays an important role in researching work, academic, innovative purpose and for this, the institute has various national and international collaboration. 

National Institute of Technology, Calicut offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses to the students. The undergraduate courses are B.tech in various specializations and B.Arch. The postgraduate courses are M.Tech in various specializations, M.Sc, MCA, MBA. Along with that the institute also offers the P.hD  program in various specializations to the students. The institute provides basic facilities to the students like laboratories, well-furnished classrooms, library, canteen, security, shuttle service, gym, auditorium, wi-fi facility, power backup, medical facility, sports facility, boys hostel, girls hostel, guest house, placement, etc.
