Metro College of Health Sciences and Research was established in the year 1997 and is under the aegis of Metro Group of Education and Research. The Institute was founded by Dr. Purshottam Lal, who is a pioneer of interventional Cardiology in India. The Metro Institute has the Metro College of Health Sciences and Research and the Metro College of Nursing.

 Metro College of Health Sciences and Research consists of the Metro College of Pharmacy which is affiliated with APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow(AICTE). The Institute is also approved by the Pharmacy Council of India and the Board of Technical Education, Lucknow.

The main objective of the Metro College of Health Sciences and Research is to educate young men and women about the techniques used in health sciences and research. The Institute plays a key role in preparing graduates in the field of pharmaceutical research, Nursing, and Paramedical Sciences that will help them overcome the challenges of the healthcare system. 

 Metro College of Health Sciences and Research has a huge campus of 2.5 acres and is located in the educational hub of Greater Noida. The Institute has a modernized infrastructure with all the necessary amenities like hostels for girls and boys, well-equipped laboratories, libraries, comfortable classrooms, and a hygienic cafeteria.
