Eligibility Criteria for KL University Admission 2025
Eligibility Criteria for Admission in B.Tech, B.Arch, and B.Tech Integrated Course
- Candidate must have 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 examination with Physics, Chemistry, Maths or Biology as main subjects.
- Admissions in B.Tech, B.Arch, and B.tech Integrated courses are based on Performance in the KL (Deemed to be) University EEE/ JEE Main/ Uni-Gauge/ JEE Advanced/ NATA/ EAMCET any other State Level Engineering Entrance Exams across India including EAMCET and Merit in Sports/ Cultural activities.
- The university also conducts an entrance examination KLUEE to offer admission to these courses. The candidate must have to appear in this entrance examination to attend the K.L University Counselling.
Eligibility Criteria for Admission to B.Pharma Course
- The candidate must have 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 in the Science subject including Physics Chemistry and Biology.
- The candidates must have to secure a valid rank in AP EAMCET or a valid score in the university entrance examination- KLUEE, or in any other state-level entrance.
Eligibility Criteria for Admission to MBA Course
- The candidate must have 55% aggregate marks in graduation (Bachelor’s Degree)
- The candidate must appear in the KLUMAT or ICET entrance examination and secure a valid score or rank to get admission to K.L University.
- Candidates who have qualified for CAT, MAT, or XAT will be exempted from KLUMAT and can directly apply for counseling.
Eligibility Criteria for Admission in M.Tech Course
- An aggregate of 55% is mandatory in the B.Tech final examination. The B.Tech must be completed in the required specialization, and the degree must be obtained from a recognized university.
- Spot Admissions are given based on the previous academic performance of the candidate. Students who have qualified GATE Entrance examination will be given preference during admissions.
- M.Tech admissions are based on academic performance except for M. Tech in Atmospheric Science for which KL University conducts a special entrance test.
Eligibility Criteria for Admission in BBA, BCA, and BBA+MBA Course
- The candidate must have scored at least 50% or 55% marks in the 10+2 examination from any stream.
- Admissions are given based on a written interview conducted by K.L University
K.L University offers admissions based on the entrance examinations, The university also conducts its Entrance examinations (KLUEE and KLUMAT) for admissions in B.Tech, B.Arch, and M.B.A courses respectively. To be admitted to any course at KL University, the candidate must get a valid score or rank in the required entrance examination. KL University (KLU), Andhra Pradesh Admission Procedure
- Visit the official website https://www.kluniversity.in/ and register yourself on the website by filling in the required details (name, mobile no., email address, password, etc).
- A verification code or a verification link will be sent to your registered email address or mobile. Enter the code or click on the link and verify yourself.
- Now log in using the email or mobile no. and password and fill up the application form with the required details.
Now, Upload the required documents in the required format:
- Class 10 mark sheet and certificate
- Class 12 mark sheet and certificate
- Score Card of required Qualifying entrance exam (if applicable)
- Admit card of required qualifying entrance exam. (if applicable)
- Passport-size photographs
- Graduation degree certificate.
Pay the application fee of Rs 1000 by using any online payment method like net banking, credit card, or debit card.
To apply offline, you can visit the admission office of the university and collect the admission form. , After filling out the admission form, you can post it to the university address along with the application fee in the form of DD of INR 1000/- drawn in favor of ‘KL (Deemed to be) University payable at Vijaywada or any scheduled bank.
