In 1924, the&nbsp;college&nbsp;celebrated its centenary, which was honored by the then Viceroy, Sir R. D. Issac. Initially, the&nbsp;college&nbsp;was associated with Calcutta University, then from 1887 to 1926, it was affiliated with Allahabad University, and since 1927, it has been affiliated with Dr. B.R. Ambedkar University,&nbsp;Agra&nbsp;(earlier known as&nbsp;Agra&nbsp;University).

In keeping with its adherence to academic excellence and continuous development,&nbsp;Agra College, Agra&nbsp;added another feather to its cap in 1999 with the formation of the Faculty of Engineering and Technology (under a self-finance scheme). This was in addition to the existing four Faculties - Science, Arts, Fine Arts, and Law.
