Anil Neerukonda Institute of Technology and Sciences, Bheemunipatnam was established in 2001 and is located in Bheemunipatnam, Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh. University Grants Commission (UGC) and All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) approved the Anil Neerukonda Institute of Technology and Sciences,  Bheemunipatnam. The institute is affiliated with Andhra University and accredited by NAAC with an ‘A’ grade and the National Board of Accreditation (NBA). Ownership of the institute is (autonomous) Private and it was established by the Anil Neerukonda Education Society. The institution aims to impart technical education to young men and women. Prepare the students to face the challenges and survive in the modern world.

The institute runs graduate and post-graduate courses across Engineering and IT streams. Graduate courses are Bachelor of Technology (B.tech) in Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Computer Science Engineering, Electrical, And Electronics Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Information Technology, Bachelor of Engineering (BE). Postgraduate courses are Master of Technology (M.Tech) in Communication Systems, Computer Science & Technology, Control Systems, Machine Design, 

Soil Mechanics and Foundation Engineering, Master of Engineering (ME). The admission process is done in two ways i.e. merit and quota. Merit-based admission is done on the based of the performance in the  EAMCET and PGECET by the students. Quota-based admission has a separate selection procedure for the students.
