1. NDA - The National Defence Academy (NDA) exam is one of the most prestigious exams conducted by UPSC twice a year. This exam is taken by those candidate who are aspiring to join the Indian Armed Forces.

NDA	22,000 to 33,000	Candidate should be between 16-19 years of age. A candidate must either be a citizen of India, a subject of Bhutan, or a subject of Nepal. A candidate should have passed the 12th class from a recognized board. The marital status of the candidate must be Single.

2. CDS - The Combined Defence Service Examination (CDS) is conducted by UPSC for the recruitment of Commissioned Officers in the Indian Military Academy, Officers Training Academy, Indian Naval Academy and Indian Air Force Academy. Those candidates who see their future in this enroll in this exam.
