1) NDA

NDA exam is conducted by the UPSC to recruit eligible candidates who want to join defence forces in Army, Navy, Airforce and Naval Academy. It is conducted twice a year and has two stages- a written exam and an SSB interview. 

Eligibility Criteria

• For Army: Candidates must have passed their class 12 examination or equivalent from a recognised board. 
• For Airforce and Naval: Candidates must have passed their class 12 examination with Physics, Chemistry and Maths subjects. 

2) CDS

The Combined Defence Services or CDS examination is organised by UPSC for the recruitment of Commissioned Officers in the armed forces. 

Eligibility Criteria

• For OTA and IMA Post: Candidates must have a bachelor's degree from a recognised university.
• For INA: Candidates must have a bachelor's degree in engineering from a recognised university or institution.
• For AFA: Candidates must have a graduation degree in engineering and Physics and Maths as subjects in class 12. 

3) SSB

The full form of SSB is the Service Selection Board Interview. SSB Interview is conducted to test candidates for officer-level entry into the Armed Forces of India. It is the 5-day test procedure required for aspirants to clear.
