  • To apply for the Migration certificate, the student is required to fill a form that is prescribed by the CBSE and has to be filled by the student. The migration form can be found on the official website of CBSE Board.
  • While applying for the CBSE migration certificate or a duplicate migration certificate, candidates are required to pay a fee of Rs 250 and for an urgent duplicate copy of a migration certificate, the fee is Rs 500. The courier charges are Rs 25 within Delhi NCR and Rs 35 for other states of India.
  • The student might need a migration certificate urgently in many cases and in such cases getting the certificate as soon as possible becomes quite necessary. Many of the students might go for future studies in another state or a city and they might need their migration certificate in such a case. However, the certificate can be sent to the required location via courier.
  • How long does it take to receive a Migration Certificate? The migration certificate can be delivered widely within the 7-20 working days from the date on which students it has applied for the migration. The student will also get a receipt of the application form. This certificate is required when the student is taking admission somewhere else.

To get a migration certificate from Delhi university, the candidate will have to fill up a form that can be taken from the V.C office from the college. This form must get attested by the college and should be submitted in the examination department of Delhi University.

Along with the form the candidate is required to pay a fee of Rs 500. The student of South Campus will have to apply in the Delhi University examination department in the South Campus while the rest can apply at the examination department on the North campus at the V.C office.

Urgent Basis- On an urgent basis, the migration certificate will be produced within 2 working days after the payment of a fee. The documents must be collected between 3-4 PM from the M & M section. Here the candidate must keep in mind that the documents must be collected within three months from the date of deposit or else the registration form and the registration fee will be failed and the candidate will have to reapply as the documents have been canceled. The candidate will have to reapply after the stipulated time has been completed. Here the candidate must keep in mind that they must check the availability of status of records at the concerned office of the board.
