The full form of UBSE is the Uttarakhand Board of Secondary Education, which is an agency of the Uttarakhand Government entrusted with the tasks of prescribing instructional and textbook courses and conducting secondary school student examinations in Uttarakhand. It is also responsible for the Board evaluation's declaration of results. It was founded in 2001 and has its Ramnagar headquarters. More than 10,000 schools are currently affiliated with the Board. Every year, the Board operates more than 1,300 examination centers for over 300,000 examinees.

The UBSE Syllabus is prescribed by the UK Board of Education for every class. The main topics taught in class 10 include science, mathematics, social science, home science, and more. Students are also taught languages such as Hindi, English, Sanskrit, etc. After class 10, students can streamline their studies as they prefer to into the stream of science, commerce, or arts. The Board and Government shall advise the syllabus for all of these subjects for all the sources.
For the convenience of the students, UBSE's official website provides the full UBSE syllabus for classes 9, 10,11, and 12 there. Students can download it from there and go through it in order to get acquainted with the subjects they need to study in their respective classes.
The UK Board presents the results in May following the Class 10 and 12 School exams conducted in March. In a year, on 30 May, the results were made available on the official website. Students can get the details on how to check online for the results.
They will also get more information on the compartmental/supplementary exams after this. Compartmental or supplemental examination is another tool for first-time candidates who could not clear the board exams.
No UBSE examinations for those residing in containment zones
The State Education Department (UBSE) has decided not to take the remaining Uttarakhand Board of School Education (UBSE) exams in the areas declared as containment zones for classes 10 and 12.
State authorities responsible for educational functionalities claimed that the area or region identified as the containment area would not consist of any exam center. Also listed in the Press Release stated that a student residing in a zone of containment cannot move outside the zone.
If the zone of containment is turned into a non-containment zone before June 22, then everything will go as per to the schedule for the students living there, then after June 25 those students will get an opportunity to sit for the examination, "said R K Kunwar, school education director (Uttarakhand).
The Uttarakhand (UK) Board of School Education (UBSE) will administer the remaining UBSE Board Exam for Classes 10 and 12 from 20 June. The state Board evaluation would be administered until June. The answer sheet evaluation process will be completed by July 15, Secretary of State (Education), Meenakshi Sundaram K. Advertised Saturday.
Also, the UBSE aims to carry out the Board exams in two shifts daily to finish it off early. The result is expected to be published in July as per the study.
