CG PPT Entrance Exam: There are many students who want to start their college after completing 10th, and CG PPT is their best chance to get enrolled in Diploma in Engineering and Diploma courses from a Government or private college.

Chhattisgarh Pre-Polytechnic Test is a state-level entrance examination conducted by the CGPEB (Chhattisgarh Professional Examination Board.) also known as CG Vyapam for students who want to pursue diploma courses in engineering. Every year thousands and lakhs of students appear in the CG PPT Entrance Exam, but very few get the golden opportunity to get shortlisted. This year also, CG PPT will be conducted in September 2024, in 28 cities of the state of Chhattisgarh. Any student who is interested in pursuing graduation from an affiliated college can apply for this exam.

CG PPT Application Form 2024:

The CG PPT application form will be released online by the board on the 1st week of May 2024, this entrance exam is conducted for students who want to get admission into diploma engineering courses offered by various Polytechnic colleges across Chhattisgarh. Make sure to read the eligibility criteria, Before applying, the candidate is advised to check that his profile is matching the eligibility criteria laid down by the authorities. Only registered candidates will be able to download their admit cards from the official website www.cgvyapam.choice.gov.in

CGPEB conducts CG PPT entrance examinations for admissions to various polytechnic diploma courses in different polytechnic colleges across the state. To qualify for this examination, candidates must ensure that he/she fulfills the eligibility criteria.

Eligibility Criteria for CG PPT Entrance Exam:

There are various eligibility criteria to apply for this exam like the domicile rules of Indian citizenship and Chhattisgarh domicile. Also, there are age criteria as well, For general category candidates, the age limit is 30 years old while on the other hand, the age limit for the ST/SC/PwD category candidates is 33 years old. Apart from the Domicile rules and Age Criteria, there are academic criteria as well which are, the candidate must have a passing certificate of 10th class with Mathematics and Science as the main subject.

As we have already discussed. The CG PPT Entrance 2024 exam date is September 2024, and the online forms will be released on the 1st week of May 2024. The candidate can fill out the application form from the 1st week of May 2024 till June 6th, 2024. In case you made an error or mistake while filling up the form, authorities allow you to correct it by providing a correction mode option. The form correction dates are June 7th, 2024 to June 11th, 2024. You can fill out the application form online on the official website https://vyapam.cgstate.gov.in/ or https://cgdteraipur.cgstate.gov.in/. The application fee is Rs 100 for PwD candidates, Rs 150 for the ST/SC/OBC category, and Rs 200 for Candidates of the General category. The application fee can be paid by using any online mode like Netbanking, Credit Card, or Debit Card.

CG PPT Admit Card:

The hall ticket will be released by the authorities on the same website and candidates can download their admit card by using their registration no. and security code. The admit card is a mandatory document to sit in the CG-PPT exam hall, without an admit card no candidate will be allowed to enter the examination hall. So, it is better to carry multiple copies of your admit card in case one gets lost or misplaced.

To qualify for the CG PPT examination it is very important to know The structure model of the question paper, in this article you will learn about the detailed sections of the exam. The exam will consist of a total of 150 marks and will be objective-based (Multiple Choice Questions) and the marking scheme will be positive (no negative marking will be done). The candidate will get 3 hours to write the exam, he/she must have to complete the exam in 3 hours.

After the examination, the candidates can get a probable idea of how much they will score, by checking out the answer key released by the authority. There are several answer keys released by the authority with the help of which Candidates can get a hint about their score. The final answer key is released with the result declaration. The result declaration date will soon be announced by the board authority, the result will probably be announced in the second week of July. The candidate can easily check their result on the website by logging in and entering their required details.

If the candidate qualified the exam and secured good marks above the cutoff, then they are eligible to attend the counseling session rounds conducted online by the authority and the candidate should know that no call letter or notification will be sent to them for the counseling sessions, the candidate has to check the updates for counseling program, again and again, to be informed about the upcoming counseling process.

Required Documents for CG PPT Counselling:

Documents necessary to attend counseling sessions are Class 10th Marksheet, State Domicile Certificate, Caste certificate (if applicable), Valid CG PPT 2024 Scorecard, Your Recent Passport size Photograph.

During the counseling session rounds, the candidates will be allocated seats according to their score and choice of course. There are a total of 8 colleges that participate in the CG PPT Entrance Exam. The list of the colleges is given in the article. The seats are allotted by the counseling authority and if the candidate will not be able to accept the seat due to any reason then his/her registration will be canceled.

The candidate can secure their respective seats (allotted to them) by paying their admission fees online and further continue to attend counseling rounds until they don't get the seat of their best choice.

CG PPT 2024 Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates are strictly advised to check the eligibility criteria list of CG PPT 2024 before filling out the application. Each and everyone must meet the requirements of the eligibility criteria laid down by the authorities. These are some eligibility criteria for the CG PPT Entrance Exam 2024:

  1. The candidate should have completed class 10th or 10+2 from the Board of Secondary Education Chhattisgarh or any other recognized board.
  2. The high school examination with Mathematics and Science as main subjects.
  3. The candidates with SC/ST/PwD category need to score only 35% average marks in these subjects( maths or science).
  4. The Candidates with SC/ST/PwD category need to score qualifying marks only.
  5. It is mandatory to score passing marks in Mathematics and Science respectively.
  6. The candidates passing class 10 through distance learning/open school are also eligible. 
  7. It is mandatory to pass in Mathematics and Science subjects separately.
  8. There is no lower age limit for the candidates but the upper age limit is 30 years old.
  9. The upper age limit for candidates belonging to SC/ST/PwD is 33 years old.

CG PPT Mandatory Domicile Rules:

  • All candidates applying for CG PPT must have Indian nationality.
  • The candidate should have a valid Chhattisgarh state domicile certificate. In other words, the candidate must be a permanent resident of Chhattisgarh, and he/ she must have completed his secondary education (10+2) in Chhattisgarh.

CG PPT 2024 Registration Process:

The releasing date of the CG PPT 2024 application form is May 13, Those who are appearing for the entrance examination have to complete the application procedure on May 13th or Before June 6th to appear in the entrance test.

Steps to Fill the CG PPT Application Form:

Step 1: Registration Process- The first step is the online registration process by using a valid email id and password. Candidate Information like the Name of the candidate, Gender, Date of Birth, a Contact number will have to be entered to log in to the application form. Some of the details are listed below:

Log in to the official portal of the Chhattisgarh Professional Examination Board with the user’s id and password. Tap on the link “CG PPT 2024 Application form" Fill in Personal details, educational details, contact details, and other personal details. 

The candidates have to select if they are a resident of Chhattisgarh or not. If you select the option Yes, then you will be able to select the district from the menu.

Exam Details

Exam Center – The candidates need to select a test center of their own choice from the drop-down list. The candidates must note that the test centre selected by them will be final and cannot be changed.

Step 4: Upload your Documents- Thoroughly scanned image files of passport size photographs, name, signature, and thumb impression have to be uploaded in the mentioned format. The format of the file must be JPEG with dimensions of 3.5*4.5 and the file size should be 40 kb to 50 kb.

Scan and upload all the following documents:

  1. Scan your Passport size photograph.
  2. Scan your 10th standard mark sheet and passing certificate.

It is to notify the students that all the documents must be in the format mentioned on the website. No application form will be submitted if the image resolution is low or disrupted.

CG PPT 2024 Admit Card:

The authorities will release the admit card of the CG PPT 2024, on the official website. To download CG PPT 2024 admit card, candidates have to log in to the website by using their registration number and with a security code as well. The CG PPT admit card is a mandatory document to appear in the entrance exam. If you don’t have an admit card then you will not be allowed to appear in the examination by the exam officials. CG PPT 2024 Exam Pattern:

The CG PPT Exams application form will be released on 13th May, and candidates looking forward to applying should start their preparation from now on. So we are providing a detailed structure of exam patterns for the engineering program.

  • Mode of Examination: CG PPT Exam 2024 is a pen-paper(offline) based examination.

CG PPT 2024 Answer Key:

The CG PPT 2024 Examination will be conducted in June 2024 and Results will be declared in the first week of July. The answer key will be generated by the authorities after the submission of the test. The answer key will be generated online by the exam authorities and a final answer key will be generated along with the result in the 1st week of July. After the declaration of the result, the counseling session will start in the second week of July.

The candidates will get the answer key after the entrance exam. It will be published in the third week of June 2024. with the help of the answer key, the candidates will be able to get an idea about how much they can score in the examination. The answer key will be released in PDF Format.
