1. Lady Shri Ram College for Women (LSR)

Lady Shri Ram College is a public women college established in the year 1956. The foundation of LSR colleges was laid by Lala Shri Ram. The college has approximately 2000 students and 150 academic staff. Only girls students can get admission in this college. It ranked 1 in Arts Education, 2 in Commerce and 3 in Mass Communication by India Today. The college offers 16 courses of study affiliated to Delhi University.  

Cutoff Range: 95% to 98%

2. St. Stephen’s College-

St. Stephen’s Colleges is one of the oldest colleges of Delhi University. The college was founded in the year 1881 (138 years ago) by Rev. Samuel Scott Allnutt. The institution has produced a line of famous alumni. Stephen’s college grants admission in both U.G. and P.G. degrees in liberal arts and sciences.

Cutoff Range: 95% to 99%

3. Hindu College-

Hindu College is one of the premier and 2nd oldest public colleges of in Delhi. It was established in the year 1899 by Late Krishan Das Ji Gur Wale in the backdrop of the nationalist conflict against the British Raj. There are more than 2500 students and 120 academic staff. The college is spread over  25-acre with one auditorium and a seminar room.

Cutoff Range: 94% to 97%

4. Miranda House, Delhi

Miranda House is a college for women only.  The foundation of this college was laid in 1948 under the supervision of Late Maurice Gwyer. Now, Pratibha Jolly holds the position of Principal. The college is affiliated to the Delhi University [also known as University of Delhi]. The infrastructure was designed by famous architect Walter George. The college has proven itself in the education field due to its academic excellence and currently offers liberal education in humanities and science to more than 2500 students.

Cutoff Range: 94% to 98%

5. Hansraj College-

The Hans Raj College was built in the year 1948 and It is NAAC Grade A+ with CGPA 3.62. The college was inspired by renowned nationalist, Mahatma Hans Raj. The college offers education in all the three streams-Science, Arts & Commerce and all these courses are affiliated to Delhi University. The college is located in New Delhi.

Cutoff Range: 93% to 97%

6. Ramjas College-

Ramjas College was founded by Mr Rai Kedar Nath in the year 1917. It is one of the oldest colleges of Delhi University. The college’s infrastructure is beautifully designed with huge seminar halls, classrooms and a garden with greenery.  All teaching staff is trained from industries. Now, Manoj Kumar Khanna is holding the position of Principal.

7. Shri Ram College of Commerce (SRCC)

Shri Ram College of Commerce (SRCC) was started in the year 1926 under the leadership of Sir Lala Shri Ram. It is one of the premier public colleges affiliated to Delhi University. The institute offers various courses such as -

8. Indraprastha College For Women-

Indraprastha College for Women is also recognised as Indraprastha College or IP College. It is the oldest women's college in Delhi located at Civil Lines, Delhi. IP college was established in the year 1924 affiliated to University of Delhi. The institute grants UG and PG courses in Economics, Liberal Arts, Commerce, Literature, Computer Science, Multimedia Media & Mass Communication etc.

9. Sri Venkateswara College-

Sri Venkateswara College is a coeducational college established on 20 Aug 1961 by Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams. It is affiliated to the University of Delhi. The college is covered 15 acres of land. If offer several courses in Arts, Science and Commerce stream

10. Jesus & Mary College (JMC)

Jesus and Mary College (J.M.C) is a prominent women-only college affiliated with the University of Delhi situated in the Urban area of New Delhi, India. The college offers bachelor's degrees in commerce, arts and mathematics. The foundation of the college was laid in the year 1961. Admission to the college will be awarded based on a competitive cut-off percentage in senior secondary (12th) exams.
