About the Admit Card

The candidates should download the admit card and enter the application number. The details mentioned on the admit card include the roll number, examination centre, timing of the examination, and some important instructions.

You should verify the name, mother’s name, father’s name, etc. You can issue a call letter on the regional website under which you have applied for the post. You should also go through the reporting time, exam duration, exam shift, and address of the examination centre. The other details mentioned on the card are category, gender, and candidates’ signatures, along with a photograph.

The documents required are an admit card, age proof, educational marksheets and certificates, a caste certificate, a no-objection certificate, and a passport-size photo.

Selection Process

The candidates are selected for the post based on a written examination, PET/PMT, and DV.

The candidates from SSC Western Region should visit the site at sscwr.net. The applicants from the SSC Central Region should visit ssc-cr.org. To download the hall ticket, and if the candidate belongs to the SSC MP Subregion, then the candidate should visit the site of sscmpr.org. For the SSC southern region, the site is sscsr.gov.in; for the eastern region, sscer.org; for the northern region, sscnr.nic.in; for the north-eastern region, sscner.org.in; and for the SSC kkr region, ssckkr.kar.nic.in.

The candidates who pass the written test should appear for the physical endurance test. The eligibility criteria for males and females are different.

  • For male candidates:

Race: Males who are up to 30 years old should undergo a 1600-metre race and complete it within 6 minutes. Male candidates who are up to 40 years old should complete a 1600-metre race in 7 minutes. If the candidate is over 40, then he or she should complete it in 8 minutes.

High-jump: Candidates up to 30 years old should pass a high jump test of 14 feet. Those candidates who are up to 30 years old should pass the 13-foot high-jump test and the 12-foot test for candidates who are over 40.

Long-jump: Candidates up to 30 years old should pass a long jump test of 3’9; candidates who are up to 30 years old should be able to jump 3’6 high. If the candidate is over 40 years old, then the candidate should be able to jump 3’3.

Height of the male candidate: 170 cm minimum

Chest: 81 cm

  • For females candidates:

Race: A candidate who is up to 30 years old should pass a 1600-metre race and finish the race within 8 minutes. Candidates who are above 30 and below 40 should be able to complete the race within 9 minutes. If the candidate is over 40, then they should complete it in 10 minutes.

High-jump: The candidates up to 30 years old should be able to jump 10 feet higher; if the candidate is between 30 and 40 years old, they should be able to jump 10 feet higher. Candidates who are over 40 years old should be able to jump 8 feet higher.

Long-Jump: Candidates up to 30 years old should be able to pass a long jump of 3' or 2’9 for candidates who are 30 years to 40 years old. If a candidate is over 40 years old, then they should pass a long jump test of 2’6.

Height of the female candidate: 157 minimum

How do I download the admit card for 2025 online to appear for an examination?

Examination Pattern

The examination is held from November 14 to December 5, 2025. The total duration of the test is 1 hour, 30 minutes. The students should answer 100 multiple-choice questions for every wrong answer. 25 marks are to be deducted. The students should score a minimum of 40% in aggregate in all the subjects.

Some important instructions to be followed by the candidates

The candidates should report to the centre on time, as instructed on the admit card.

Candidates who enter after the entry closing time will not be entertained.

They should bring the following materials for the examination:
