NTA, The National Testing Agency (NTA) which is responsible for organising UGC NET Answer Key 2020 will be released on 31st December. The organising body will disclose the result on 10th January 2020. Due to which the answer key is being made available on the last day of December. All the aspirants who want to check the Answer Key can visit the official website of NTA i.e. nta.ac.in to check the answer key.
Vineet Joshi, the Director of NTA assured that the results will be out on the announced date i.e. 10th January 2020.
He further added that the NTA is satisfied as this was the first time they organised an exam a no difficulty was faced. To check the scorecards, check the official website nta.ac.in.
In total, 1.8 lakhs candidates appeared for the UGC NET examination. The examination ended on 22nd December 2019. It was organized for two days. 65.3% of students appeared for the test on 1st day while 72.8% of students sat for examination on the second day.
NTA officials were accused by a 24 old woman candidate for not letting her sit in the examination as she was not ready to remove her ‘Hijab’ (Headscarf).
The rule of hijab and other accessories that are not allowed was followed throughout to avoid cheating and maintain security.
Safina Khan Soudagar blamed the officials telling the media that when she reached her centre in Panaji on 18th December, the supervisor checked her thoroughly and ordered her to remove ‘Hijab’. When she denied, the supervisors didn’t permit her to give the UGC NET 2020.
The National Eligibility Test (NET) is regulated under the guidance of the University Grants Commission, UGC. This exam is for deciding the eligibility criteria for College and University Level Lecturership and for the Award of Junior Research Fellowship.
