February 3 has been announced for the Tamil Nadu NMMS Exam. This is for the class 8 students who are studying in government and government-aided schools which are mainly recognised by the state government.  There will be two sections of the exam one consists of a mental ability test and a scholastic abilities test. 

Students need to answer 90 multiple-choice questions consisting of MAT and SAT sections. There will be tests for verbal and non-verbal meta-cognitive abilities like reasoning and critical thinking of the aspirants. 

The questions will be based on classification, analogy, series perception, numerical series, hidden figures, and others. In the section of SAT, the questions will be related to social studies, and test knowledge of science and mathematics.  All the syllabus will be based on the class 7th and 8th syllabus.
