SSC CPO Notification 2025: Apply Online Application Form for 1876 Posts
The Staff Selection Commission has issued a notification about the recruitment of assistant sub-inspectors in the CISF, assistant sub-inspectors in the Delhi Police, and sub-inspectors in the sub-armed forces. Eligibility Criteria 2025
Nationality:
He or she should be an Indian citizen or a citizen of Nepal.
He or she could be a citizen of Bhutan who possesses a certificate issued by the Government of India.
Age criteria for SSC 2025:
- The minimum expected age is 20 years, and the maximum age allowed is 25 years. But relaxation is provided to the candidates belonging to the special category as follows:
- SC/ST: 5 years of relaxation
- OBC: 3 years
- Ex-servicemen: 3 years after deducting services from the military from their actual age as of the date of discharge.
- Divorced or widowed women who are remarried can apply if they are under 35 years old.
- Women who belong to SC/ST and are divorced and widowed and not remarried can apply if they are below 40 years of age.
Educational Qualification
He or she should be a graduate of any stream from a recognized university.
Mode of selection
The candidates should undergo a written test of Paper I, PET/PST, Paper 2, a physical standard test, and a medical test.
Exam Pattern
- The written exam is conducted in three stages, namely Stage I, or Paper I, which consists of 200 MCQ questions.
- The second stage consists of a physical endurance test (PET or PST) and a medical test.
- Stage III consists of a written test consisting of MCQ-type questions with 200 marks.
Paper I Exam Pattern
The written exam is conducted in online mode.
It consists of four sections: general intelligence and reasoning, general knowledge and awareness, quantitative aptitude, and English comprehension. For each section, students should solve 50 questions. Each question carries 1 mark and should be completed in 2 hours.
The physical endurance test for male candidates is as follows:
- The minimum height requirement for males is 170 cm, females are 157 cm, men of Jammu and Kashmir, the north-east, and Sikkim are 165 cm, scheduled tribes (men) are 162.5 cm, women belonging to hilly regions are 155 cm, scheduled tribes (females) are 154 cm, etc.
- The applicants should complete a 100-metre race in 16 seconds and a 1.6-kilometre race in 6.5 minutes. The male candidates should also undergo a long jump of 3.65 meters, and three chances are allotted to them. Then, the candidates should undergo a high jump of 1.2 meters, and three chances are allotted to them.
- The female candidates should undergo a 100-metre race in 18 seconds, an 800-metre race in 4 minutes, a long jump of 2.7 meters when 3 chances are allotted, and a high jump of 0.9 meters.
The Paper II Exam Pattern
Paper II consists of 200 comprehension and language questions for 200 marks. The applicants should complete the test in 2 hours. If the students answer incorrectly, then. 25 marks are deducted.
How do I apply online for SSC PO 2025?
- They should visit the official site of ssc.nic.in.
- Then, choose the option ‘Apply’ and find the option SSC CPO.
- After clicking on the “Examination” link, choose ‘Part I registration ‘first.
- Then, you can find a form online and fill out all the details, such as name, name of the centre, qualification details, code, etc.
- Then go to ‘Register’, and you can find login details such as registration number and password.
- Then you will receive your registration number at your respective email address.
- Then, when you log in next time, use the credentials.

- After uploading documents, pay the application fee of Rs. 100.
- The fees can be paid online or offline.
