The RBI Assistant Recruitment 2024 is conducted every year by the Reserve Bank of India in various branches in India. The Reserve Bank of India has officially declared the Reserve Bank of India RBI Assistant Recruitment 2024 on the site www.rbi.org.in. The bank is recruiting 450 candidates.
The main responsibility of the RBI Assistant is to maintain files and records, circulate currencies, verify different documents, perform day-to-day transactions, respond to emails, perform government Treasury work, etc. Interested candidates can apply for the post from September 13 to October 4.
The exams are to be conducted in two phases, namely prelims and mains. Candidates who pass both phases of the exam are to be recruited for the post. Before applying for the post, the candidate should also pass the Language Proficiency Test.

Application fees are to be paid.
According to the notification released, the candidates applying for the post of RBI Assistant Notification 2024 should pay the prescribed fees.
Candidates belonging to general, OBC, and EWS should pay a prescribed fee of Rs. 450 plus 18% of GST.
Candidates belonging to the SC/ST/EXS category should pay a fee of Rs. 50 plus 18% of GST.
The staff members applying for the post should not pay any fees.
Educational Qualifications for RBI Assistants
The candidates applying for the post should be proficient in the English language and should be able to read, write, speak, and comprehend the language well.
The interested candidate should be a graduate and should attain 50% marks from a recognized university or any equivalent degree. If a candidate belongs to the SC, ST, or PWD category, then he or she should attain passing marks at graduation.
An ex-serviceman expects the dependents of ex-servicemen to be graduates from a recognized university. Or else, the candidate could be a matriculant or should have attained a degree equivalent to matriculation and should have rendered 15 years of service in the Armed Forces.
Age limit for candidates applying for the RBI post
Candidates born between September 2, 1995, and September 1, 2003, can apply for the post.
The minimum age of application for an RBI assistant is 21 years, and the maximum age is 28 years for candidates belonging to the general category.
The candidates belonging to the SC/ST category, OBC category, PWD category, or ex-servicemen are provided with age relaxation.
Candidates who are 33 or younger and belong to the SC or ST can apply for the post. If a candidate belongs to the OBC, they are provided with a relaxation of up to 31 years. Candidates who are 38 years of age or younger and belong to the general category can apply for the post. Candidates who belong to both the SC/ST and PWD categories can apply for the post if they are 43 years of age or younger. The upper age relaxation for candidates belonging to the OBC is 41 years.
Women who are divorced or judicially separated and not remarried should be 35 years of age or younger. Such candidates belonging to SC/ST are even provided with an age relaxation of up to 40 years.

The candidates who are shortlisted for the main examination should undergo the Language Proficiency Test, and the candidates who pass this test are recruited for the job.
