According to a recent survey by the Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC ), it was concluded that four out of five companies in India hire an MBA graduate. The demand for MBA graduates in the coming months is expected to glide in the coming months. Entrance examination for MBA aspirants is held every year with thousands of candidates appearing in the examination.

While CAT is considered to be the ideal opportunity for aspirants to get enrolled in the best business schools across the country, other entrance examinations should also be given equal importance. We are enlisting the preliminary schedule of these entrance examinations;

CAT Common Aptitude Test

CAT is the prestigious entrance examination for management aspirants. The online registration date for the CAT this year has been extended till 26th September 2024. Earlier the date of registration for CAT aspirants was September 2024. The entrance examination is held by the Indian Institute of Management( IIM) on a rotational basis. This year the CAT 2024 will be held by IIM - CALCUTTA on November 25, 2024, across 147 cities in India. The examination will take place in two sessions. Candidates can download the admit card from the official website of IIM ( iimcat.ac.in ).

XAT Xavier Aptitude Test

XAT is a national-level entrance examination held by Xavier School of Management. This entrance examination will be held on January 6, 2024. The online process of registration commenced in the mid months of 2024, precisely to be august 20 and aspirants can apply till November 30. The examination will be conducted on the following patterns this year ;

• Verbal and Logical Reasoning
• Decision Making
• Quantitative Ability & Data Interpretation
• General Knowledge

IIFT MBA: IIFT ( Indian Institute of Foreign Trade ) organizes its national-level entrance exam i.e. IIFT entrance exam, for admission to its MBA programs at its Delhi, Kolkata, and Kakinada campuses. The admit card for IIFT can be downloaded by aspirants on November 16, while the examination will take place on December 2, 2024. The online registration for IIFT entrance this year ended on September 14, 2024.
