Students who have applied for the Kerala National Means-cum-Merit Scholarship (NMMS) should visit the official site of nmmse.kerala.gov.in to check the revised exam schedule as the exam is postponed to December 11. According to the notification issued earlier, the exam was to be held on December 7. The exam is conducted in two shifts.
This exam is meant for the students in Grade 8 who are applying for the scholarship program for this academic year. The students can opt to write in any of the four languages, namely Malayalam, English, Tamil, and Kannada. They are providing scholarships to 3473 students who pass the scholarship exam based on their scores.

The examination is conducted in two different parts, namely the mental ability test and the scholastic ability test. In each section, students should attempt 90 questions, and the duration of each paper is 1 ½ hours. The MAT test is a language test to assess proficiency in English and Hindi. For the SAT test, the questions pertain to core subjects such as science, math, and social studies.
It is held in offline mode, and the students should solve MCQ questions. The questions are appearing on the syllabus for grades 7 and 8. Each question carries one mark. Students whose parental income does not exceed 3.5 lakhs can apply for the scholarship exam. It is also meant for students who are enrolled in aided or governmental schools. The students should pass the test to become eligible for the scholarship program.
Students who require support benefit from the NMMS program to pursue secondary education, as they receive Rs. 12,000 annually as a reward.

The application form is available on the official website of the National Means Merit Scholarship at nmmse.kerala.gov.in. Before applying for the scholarship program, read the information brochure from NMMS. Then enter the details on the form correctly, as required. After filling out the details, pay the application fees and submit the form. Save a copy of the printout for further reference.
After applying for the scholarship program, you are issued an admit card some days prior to the exam. To download an admit card, visit the site at nmmse.kerala.gov.in. On the information brochure, you can acquire information about downloading. If SCERT Kerala is issuing admit cards online, then you can log in at nmmse.kerala.gov.in to download the hall ticket. You can check the NMMS exam date, time, and exam center.
