The Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission has announced the JSSC JTPTCCE Recruitment 2025. A notification was sent on July 21, 2025, for the Jharkhand Trained Primary Teacher Joint Competitive Exam. Interested candidates should acquire information about eligibility criteria online.

For the post of primary teacher, 26001 candidates are to be recruited. Candidates who are interested in applying can apply from August 16, 2025, to September 15, 2025. They can also acquire information online about the selection procedure, pay scale, age, etc. The examination is conducted to recruit teachers from grades 1 to 5 in government schools in Jharkhand.

Age Limit for JSSC Primary Teacher Eligibility Criteria in 2025

  1. Minimum age to appear for the JSSC Primary Teacher job: 21 years
  2. Upper age limit for the general or EWS category: 40 years
  3. Upper Limit for EBC and BC: 42 years
  4. SC, ST (male and female): 45 years
  5. Upper limit for other females: 43 years

Educational Qualification for JSSC Primary Teacher Examination

For the post of trained assistant teacher, the candidate should be 10+2 with a two-year diploma in elementary education. Or the candidate should have 10 + 2 with a minimum of 45% marks and a two-year diploma in elementary education as per the NCTE norms. Even graduates with a two-year diploma in primary education (BTC or DELED) Otherwise, the candidate should possess the qualification of Teacher Eligibility Test Education.

For the post of a Graduate Trained Assistant Teacher from classes 6 to 8 as a language teacher or a teacher in core subjects such as science, mathematics, or social studies, the candidate should be a graduate in the relevant field with a 2-year diploma in education or BTC/DELED. OR should possess a bachelor’s degree with 50% marks or a 1-year B.Ed. Or else, the candidate should score 45% and complete a 1-year B.Ed. degree. Or, the candidate should score a minimum of 50% in 10+2 intermediate and complete a 4-year BAed or B. ScED degree. The candidate may also complete graduation with 50% marks with a B.Ed. (Special) or pass the Jharkhand Teacher Eligibility Test, Classes 6 to 8.

Registration Process of JSSC Primary Teacher

  1. Candidates should visit the official website at www.jssc.nic.in.
  2. Then choose Application Forms (Apply) under Important Links and click Apply Now.
  3. Then assign an email ID and a mobile number to register.
  4. Thus, you can generate a valid registration number and a password.
  5. Store the registration number and password.
  6. Then enter the details carefully.
  7. Then carefully read the instructions, and then proceed to pay.
  8. Upload the documents that are required. The documents required to be uploaded are an ID proof, address details, and basic details, along with a photo, ID proof, and signature.
  9. After filling out the information, proceed to the payment gateway and pay the application fees.
  10. Then, after submitting the application form, take a printout of the submitted application.

Examination Pattern: 2025

The following is the pattern of examination 2025, which includes information about marks for each section and the marking scheme details for the examination.

The examination consists of three papers: Paper 1, Paper 2, and Paper 3. The maximum marks for Papers 1 and 2 are 100. Paper 3 is worth 200 marks. The students should complete Paper 1 and Paper 2 in 2 hours, and Paper 3 should be completed in 3 hours.
