The National Testing Agency has finally declared the result of JEE Mains 2019 January session on Saturday, January 19. The result has been released almost 11 days before the scheduled declaration date. Students can now check their scorecard by visiting the official website of JEE Mains, i.e. jeemain.nic.in and the marks will be given in the percentile form.
This year, near about 9 lakhs applicants had registered for JEE Mains 2019 Paper -1 and out of which around 15 candidates have secured 100 percentile in this highly competitive exam. NTA has released the list of toppers in a state-wise manner and among them, 4 candidates belong to Telangana, 3 from Maharashtra and 1 from Uttar Pradesh. Paper-I (B.E./B.Tech) of this exam was conducted in a sum of 8 shifts from 9th of January to 12th January 2019. The students who didn’t get the chance to qualify the examination this time can apply for the second edition of JEE Main in April this year.
The online registration procedure for JEE Main April 2019 exam will commence from February 8 and will be concluded till March 7, 2019. The exam will be held in the Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode in the month of April. The overall rank of the candidates will be determined after the release of second edition paper’s result and will be finalized by considering the better NTA scores among two.
How to download JEE Mains 2019 Result:
The students who have appeared for JEE Mains 2019 Paper 1 examination can download their result by following these steps:
Step 1: Visit the official website of JEE Mains,i.e. Jeemain.nic.in
Step 2: Click on the link “JEE (Main) January 2019 NTA Score” mentioned on the home page of the site.
Step 3: Now, click on the ‘download results’ tab.
Step 4: Enter your login credentials including registration number, roll number, etc.
Step 5: Click on submit and the result will appear on the screen.
Step 6: At last, download the scorecard and take a print out of it for further preferences.

Till the previous year, JEE Mains was conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) but from this very year, NTA will be conducting JEE Main twice in a year.
