The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the CTET 2024 answer key for paper 1 & paper 2 of the exam on the official website ctet.nic.in Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) was held on December 2024 (Sunday).
Along with the CTET answer key, the board has also released the individual OMR sheets for the candidates who appeared for the exam. Candidates will also be allowed to submit their challenges on the answer key and the OMR answer sheet.
Aspirants can match their answers with the given answer key to check how many answers are correct. However, CBSE will not accept any request for correction. The last date to submit the objections against the answer key is 30 December 2024.
This year approx 17 lakh candidates appeared for the examination out of which 9,78,818 are female candidates, 7,12,071 are male candidates, 33,107 aspirants had disabilities and 199 were are transgender.
The exam was conducted in two shifts- Morning Shift 9:30 am to 12:00 noon and Afternoon shift 2:00 pm to 4:30 pm respectively. CTET 2024 exam was conducted in 92 cities across the country after a gap of two years.
From this year CBSE will also provide Central Teacher Entrance Test(CTET) mark sheet and eligibility certificate to successful applicants in the digital format in a "DigiLocker” account which has an encrypted QR code for security.
The DigiLocker account credentials will be conveyed to the candidates on their respective mobile numbers. This will make the work of the candidate easy from carrying the physical documents.
1- Go to the official website of CTET 2024 ctet.nic.in
2- Click on the answer key link provided on the home page.
3- Fill in all the credential details such as registration number and other details.
4- The CTET answer keys will appear on the screen.
5- Now, download the answer key.
After downloading the answer key and OMR sheet, candidates should go through the answer carefully and submit their challenge through the link provided on the official website.
Candidates will be required to submit a fee of Rs. 1000 for every question which will be refunded if the candidate's challenge is accepted by the board.
CTET Director said- “The mark sheets and certificates which will contain encrypted QR code can be downloaded using the login credentials that will be sent by the board”.
