The National level Board of Education, CBSE has passed on a letter to the head of the private and public schools which are affiliated to it. The Board mentioned that the practical examinations of 12th Standard will be held in the month of January and February. These practical examinations will commence on the 16th January 2019 and will conclude in the mid of February excluding the state of Triveni Sangam i.e. Prayagraj (Allahabad).
Due to the famous Kumbh Mela celebrations, the practical examinations of class 12th in Allahabad will start earlier than other states. The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) notified that from the 1st January 2019 the practical tests of HSC students will begin.
In the letter, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) also stated that the exam of subjects which are based on skills will start from the second half of February. As these subjects are picked by less number of students. The practical exams of all other subjects will be wrapped before 15th February 2019.
Nearly 19,3016 Schools of India and 211 Schools of 25 other countries are affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). This Board is controlled and managed by Union Government of India. The CBSE Board has informed schools that the practicals should be carried out in two shifts in a particular day if the strength of the class is equal or more than twenty.
The CBSE Board has also demanded the list of marks to be uploaded on the examination itself when the external examiner comes for inspection or examining.
The schedule of theory examination is still not released. These theory examinations are assumed to start in March of 2019.
