APPSC Group 2 Recruitment 2024 - Exam Dates, Application form, Highlights, Eligibility Criteria

The Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) is expected to close the application process for APPSC Group 2 Recruitment 2024 today, January 10. Candidates can apply for thetis  via the official website, psc.ap.gov.in. This  examination will take place on February 25, 2024. The exam will be held in both English and Telugu. The primary examination date will be notified in due course. This exam drive intends to fill 897 (tentative) vacancies in the department.

The exam has three stages: preliminary, major, and interview.

Application Process

Candidates can follow the steps below to apply for this particular exam.

Steps to apply for this exam:

  •  Visit the Commission's website.
  • Select 'One Time Profile Registration (OTPR).' You must first provide your information and credentials to establish a log-in ID and password.
  •  After completing this OTPS, use this unique ID and password to log in to the website and navigate to the Apply Online section.
  •  Choose the APPSC Group 2 recruitment exam from the list. Once the application form appears on your screen, fill it out with all your information. Upload all essential paperwork.
  • Verify and evaluate the information you entered. Once you've checked that everything is in order, click Submit.
  • Pay the application fee using any online payment option that you like. You can also choose to pay it offline.
  •  Once you have paid the application money, you can download and print the APPSC Group 2 application form.

Eligibility Criteria

The candidates must meet the APPSC Group 2 eligibility criteria in order for their application form to be considered for the various Group 2 openings. Eligibility Criteria will be released on December 21, 2023. Here are the possible  eligibility criteria for this examination 

Age

A candidate must be at least 18 years old on the day of their online application. The candidate's upper age limit is set to 42. Candidates from the following categories are eligible for a relaxation in the upper age restriction.

Ex-servicemen and NCC A maximum of three years can be added to the period of military service.

Retrenches employees 3 years
Widows Maximum 43 years

Assistant Development Officer A.P. Handlooms and Textiles Subordinate Service Bachelor’s Degree from any University in India established or incorporated by or under a Central Act, Provincial Act, State Act, or an Institution recognized by the University Grants Commission. OR a diploma in textile or handloom technology given by the Andhra Pradesh State Board of Technical Education, or an equivalent education.
Assistant Section Officer (GAD) A.P. Secretariat Sub. Service Bachelorette degree from any Indian university formed or incorporated by or under a Central Act, Provincial Act, or University Grants Commission-recognized institution, or an equivalent qualification.
Assistant Section Officer (Law Dept.) A.P. Secretariat Sub. Service Bachelorette Degree in Law from any Indian university formed or incorporated by or under a Central Act, Provincial Act, State Act, or an Institution recognized by the University Grants Commission.
Assistant Section Officer (Finance Dept.) A.P. Secretariat Sub-Service Bachelorette Degree in Economics, Commerce, or Mathematics from any Indian university formed or incorporated by or under a Central Act, Provincial Act, State Act, or a recognized institution by the University Grants Commission or an equivalent qualification.
Senior Accountant (HODs) A.P. Treasuries and Accounts Sub-Service (HODs)

Degree in commerce, economics, or mathematics from any university recognized by the University Grants Commission. Successfully complete any of the following certificate courses.

Examination conducted by the Board of Technical Education and Training, A.P.

  • Office Automation
  • PC Maintenance and Troubleshooting
  • Web designing or Or Degree in Computer Application (B.C.A.) or B.Sc.(Comp.) or B.Com.(Comp.) or B.A. (Comp.) or B.Tech /B.E. with Computer Science or Information Technology or equivalent.
Senior Accountant (Districts) A.P. Treasuries and Accounts Sub-Service (Districts)
