The SSC (Staff Selection Commission) JHT has announced the result for Paper 1. Students who appeared for the positions of junior translator, senior Hindi translator, and junior Hindi translator can view the results of Paper-I on the official site at ssc.nic.in. Candidates passing the test are qualified for Paper 2. A total of 2,274 candidates are qualified for Paper 2.
The exam was conducted on October 16 across various centers of the country in computer-based test mode. The minimum marks the students are expected to score are 30% for the general category, 25% for OBC and EWS, and 20% for another category.

The SSC JHT Paper 2 is descriptive and will be held on December 31, 2025. Shortly, the admit card will be uploaded to the official site, and qualified candidates should download the admit card. The SSC JHT paper 2 has 200 marks. It consists of a translation and an essay.
Students who are qualified for Paper 2 can view their admission certificates on the websites of their respective regional offices.
For Paper 2, the translation skills of the candidates are tested. The candidates should read the translations. They can read the speeches of leaders in two languages: Hindi and English. The candidates can read a Hindi speech or a book and then read its English translation. Then, they should read an English book or a speech, and then its translation in Hindi. So, you can prepare for translation in this way.
In the translation section, the students should attempt one passage for translation from Hindi to English and another passage to translate from English to Hindi.
In the essay section, the students should attempt one Hindi essay writing question and one English essay writing question.
So, the students should attempt the overall four questions.
Practice the previous year’s papers.
The students should solve the previous or model question papers of SSC JHT so they are familiarized with the concepts. So, the students are familiarized with the exam pattern and the questions that are most likely to appear in the examination. While solving questions, they can analyse their weaker areas and focus on development.
Using Google Translators
First, you can choose any article in Hindi and then translate it into English. You can later compare the translations of yours and Google's. In this way, you can discover your areas of weakness. Similarly, you can choose an English article, translate it, and then compare it with a Google translation.
