The registration process will begin from February 2025 for all interested candidates who want to join IITs, NITs, or any other major government institution The official notification has already been declared on the official website so that students can apply through the website, jeemain.nic.in.
The entrance exam shall be conducted from April 2025 and results shall be declared on May 2024. The admit cards will be available on the website for download from the 18th of March 2025.
➢ Step 1: Visit the official website, jeemain.nic.in
➢ Step 2: Click on the ‘online application process link’
➢ Step 3: Submit all the necessary details as required like photograph, signature, address, and thumb impression
➢ Step 4: Click on ‘Submit’
➢ Step 5: Once the application process is completed, download it, and take a printout for further reference.
The Fee structure varies as per reservation as per official guidelines and is described below:
➢ Application fees: 250 for reserved candidates and girls, 500 INR for General/OBC boys.
➢ Both exam fees: 1300 for General/OBC class and 650 for reserved quota and Girls.
Syllabus:
The syllabus of JEE MAINS consists of the following topics
Physics:
This section will include questions on general topics like gaseous and liquid state etc. It will also include topics like mechanics, thermal physics, electricity and magnetism, optics, and modern physics. The syllabus has 80% theoretical testing and a 20% practical skills questionnaire conducted in a physics lab in the 11th and 12th classes.
Organic Chemistry
This section will contain questions on isolation/preparation and properties of non-metals, preparation, and properties of compounds, transition elements (3D series), ores and minerals, extractive metallurgy, and principles of quality analysis
Inorganic Chemistry
This section will include questions on concepts, preparation/properties/reactions of alkanes/alkynes, reactions of benzene, phenols, characteristic reactions, carbohydrates, amino acids and peptides, properties, and uses of important polymers and practical organic chemistry.
Mathematics
This section contains questions on algebra, trigonometry, analytical geometry, differential calculus, integral calculus, and vectors.
Age:
The age limit has no bar for students who have passed 12th in 2025 and appear in 2025.
Year of Appearance:
Aspirants going to appear in 2025 can not sit in this exam and those who have appeared and passed 12th in 2018 are not eligible.
Aspirants need to take five subjects in class twelfth/qualifying examination all together to be qualified for composing JEE (Main)- 2025. Four subjects are not allowed to appear in JEE (Main)- 2025 and if such competitors show up in JEE (Main)- 2025 by outfitting incorrectly data, their position/result won't be announced.
