The WB TET 2025 was released, and the exam was scheduled for December 24. Earlier, it was reported to be on December 10, 2025, but was later postponed to December 24, 2025. The applicants appearing for the exam were to download their admit cards online. The notification about the examination was released on September 14, 2025. The last date for filling out the form was October 4, 2025

Information on the Admission Card
Information on the admit card includes the address, name, exam date and time, centre, roll number, signature, and some important instructions during the exam. The candidates should follow the instructions carefully on the admit card.
The paper comprises MCQ questions and consists of five sections, namely child development, pedagogy, and Language 1 in Bengali. Language 2 is English, EVS, and mathematics. Each paper consists of 30 marks, and the overall mark for each paper is 150 marks. The exam is held in offline mode only. The duration of the paper is 180 minutes.
The result of WB TET 2025, held on December 24, 2025, will be declared shortly. The students can view results by entering their credentials, such as their application number, name, date of birth, and password.
Once the result is released, the students are able to download the WB TET Scoreboard 2025 on the screen. On the scoreboard, they can find the details of the total marks scored in the exam and the status of the result. So, they can know if they are qualified for the next round or not. Students will receive the WB TET Certificate in 2025. The details that are mentioned on the result are name, exam, date of birth, gender, category, roll number, marks obtained, qualifying status, registration number, roll number, etc.
Applicants who pass the written test are called for a round of personal interviews. Then, the candidates are asked questions related to the subjects and personal details. Candidates who pass the interview round are recruited as teachers for the primary section.
