The RTE UP admission application form was started on 2 March 2021. Children whose age is between 6 years to 14 years are eligible for the RTE. Under the Act of Right to Education, these children’s parents can apply for the Uttar Pradesh Admission 2021. Parents are advised to fill the admission form online carefully after reading all the instructions regarding the admission of the child. They have to visit the official website of the basic education department and submit the admission form online only on the website. 

According to the Act of Right to Education, there must be 25% of seats reserved for RTE students in every school. Uttar Pradesh Government organizes every school admission through the Right to Education Act (RTE). UP government conducts this admission process to provide free and compulsory education to the backward classes students. This act helps in improving the basic education literacy of the economically backward classes, disabled students. Before applying for admission in RTE UP, one must check the eligibility criteria for avoiding future mistakes.

 Eligibility Criteria for RTE UP Admission 2021:

Before taking admission to the RTE UP, one must check the criteria of eligibility of the children. We have provided the eligibility criteria for the RTE UP admission:

  • Between the age of 6 to 14 years, students are eligible for the RTE UP admission.
  • Students must belong to the category of PwD/SC/ST. 
  • Poor section of the society will get 25% of reserved seats in the school of Uttar Pradesh. 
  • To get eligible, students must be a domicile of India. 
  • In the case of specific-state application then students must be a domicile of that specific state. 
  • The student’s parent’s income must be less than 1 lakh.

How to Apply RTE UP Admission Form:

For students who have applied for the RTE UP admission, their selection is based on lucky draw(lottery system).  After the completion of the application process, they will conduct the YP RTE Lottery System. To check all the details related to RTE UP seat allotment, they can visit the official website. We have provided the direct link to the official website to fill the admission form or to check the selection list of RTE UP. 

Steps to Apply:

  • First, you have to visit the official website of the Basic Education Department. (http://rte25.upsdc.gov.in/ )
  • On the homepage of the website, you will find the link to the online application/ student login on the right-hand side of the homepage. Click on it.
  • After that, the RTE UP admission form will appear on your screen. 
  • Now you have to fill in all the required details carefully and then click on the register button. 
  • Student’s registration slip will display on your screen and now you can download and print out the slip of registration. After that click on the button to complete the form. 
  • Now you have to fill out the details correctly in the admission application form along with that you have to upload the documents which are required at the time of admission procedure. 
  • After that select school from the school list and then click on the Save button. 
  • After the completion of the application form, now you’ll be able to see the preview of the application form and then click on the lock and final print option. 
  • You can now take out a printout of the RTE UP application form.

Document Required for the RTE UP Admission:

These documents are required at the time of RTE UP admission. Required documents will be uploaded with the application form on the official website of the Basic Education  Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh: 

1. Date of Birth Certificate (Age Proof)

2. Guardian Annual Income Certificate

3. Residence Proof

4. SC/ ST Certificate

5. Physically Handicapped Certificate (If applicable)

6. HIV/ Cancer report (If applicable)

7. Photograph

How to check RTE UP application status:

  • You have to visit the official website of the Basic Education Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh. (http://rte25.upsdc.gov.in/ )
  • On the homepage of the website, you will find an option for student application status, click on it.
  • Then click on the option of new student registration. 
  • After that, you have to choose your district and enter your registered id. 
  • There will be an option of search, you have to click on it and then your application status will apparel on your screen. 

How to check RTEE UP Lottery Result:

  • Firstly, you have to visit the official website of the Basic Education Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh(http://rte25.upsdc.gov.in/ ).
  • The lottery result option will be displayed on the homepage of the website, click on it.
  • After clicking the result page will be displayed on your screen. 
  • Now you have to search your registration id and then the result will appear on your screen. 

Steps of checking seat allotment result: RTE UP

  • For this, you have to visit the official website of the Basic Education Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh(http://rte25.upsdc.gov.in/ ).
  • You will find the option of Seat Allotment Result, click on it. 
  • After clicking the seat allotment result page will be displayed on your screen. 
  • Noe searches your registration id and then the allotment status will appear on your screen. 

Selection Process:

The selection of the students is based on the lottery system. In the lottery system, all registered students will get a random number and after that draw of the lot will be done and students’ names will be selected on that basis. RTE UP lottery results will be posted on the official website of the Basic education department. Or you can also check the selected student name in the RTE UP admission selection list.   RTE-affiliated schools will get informed about the students who are selected for admission through email or SMS.
