IIT JAM Result 2024: The result for the Joint Admission Test (JAM) 2024 will be declared by the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kharagpur. Along with the IIT JAM result 2024, IIT has also released the final answer key. The result will be declared on the official website i.e. jam.iitkgp.ac.in. The examination was conducted on February 10, 2024, for admission to M.Sc. Courses in IITs. The exam is held annually for selecting candidates for admission to MSc, Joint MSc-PhD, MSc-PhD dual degree, and other post-graduation degree programs at the IITs.

Steps to Download IIT JAM Result 2024:

Step 1: Click on this link “https://joaps.iitkgp.ac.in/” and you will a window in an output form where you have to put your credentials in the providing columns according to the category.

Step 2: In that window, aspirants have to enter all the required information like Enrollment ID/ Email ID and password accurately.

Step 3: If you forget your enrolment ID or password, click on the link given at the bottom of the JOAPS page. Enter your ‘email ID’ and ‘date of birth’ which were used while registering.

Step 4: As an aspirant, looking for IIT JAM 2024 Results, will receive a link on your registered email ID and an option to change your password accordingly.

Step 5: Just after you click on the submit button, a page will appear containing the IIT JAM Results 2024 will be visible to you on the screen.

Step 6: Aspirants have to download their IIT JAM Results 2024. Also, take a printout for the same. In case if you have done some wrong submissions. Hard Copy will help you.

• The IIT JAM Result 2024 will be declared based on the candidate’s performance in the online test. Candidates who scored more than the cut-off marks are declared qualified in JAM. Qualifying candidates can apply for the IIT JAM Admission Process from April 11, 2024.

IIT JAM Merit List 2024:

After a few days of the result being announced, candidates will be able to download their IIT JAM 2024 Score Card. Qualified candidates will be able to view their All India Rank as well as their overall score. Each candidate will receive a scorecard in the mail. A merit list is created for the selection process based on the candidates' scores. The total number of seats available in each category (OBC-NCL, SC, ST, and PwD) in a specific subject will determine the number of students included in the Merit List (All India). Candidates will be called for the counseling process based on the generated merit list.

Tie-breaking Criteria:

The candidate who has a higher ratio of positive to negative marks will receive a higher score on the exam. If this criterion does not succeed in breaking ties, the students in question will be given the same rank.
