The Institute of Engineering and Rural Technology (IERT) Prayagraj has declared admissions in engineering diplomas and other courses. Students who are seeking admissions should appear for the IERT entrance exam held on June 11 and 14, 2025. So, the students should apply online for the entrance test, IERT 2025.

Payment of Application Fees: Institute of Engineering and Rural Technology (IERT)

Students belonging to the general category, OBC, EWS, or even SC/ST should pay Rs. 1350. The students should also pay GST or extra charges. The payment should be made online through a credit card, debit card, or net banking.

Following are the details of the programme:

The programme of Engineering or Technology Diploma is meant for 3 years, divided into 6 semesters. The Management Diploma course is for two years, consisting of four semesters. The Post Diploma in Computer Application for one and a half years is meant for three semesters.

Educational qualifications required to complete a diploma:

Students perusing technical or engineering diplomas should have passed 10th grade with subjects of math and science as compulsory subjects. Students perusing the Management Diploma for 2 years should have passed 10 + 2 with subjects such as English and Hindi as compulsory subjects at the intermediate or high school level.

Students who want to study a postgraduate diploma in computer application for 1 ½ years should have passed a diploma in any field with physics and math as a compulsory subject in 12th grade. The student should have passed on a recognised board.

What documents are required for IERT Prayagraj Diploma Admission 2025?

• Candidate's signature’s scanned copy
• Marksheets of 10th grade (passed) and birth certificate of the candidate
• Certificate of 12th and mark sheet
• Bachelors, Master’s B.Ed. if any marksheet and certificate
• The students should also produce a category certificate or domicile certificate, if applicable.

How do I apply for the IERT Entrance Examination 2025 online form?

• The candidates should visit the site of iertentrance.in, or they can visit the official site of IERT before January 2025.
• Before applying for admission in 2025, the candidates should read the instructions carefully.
• Then, on the web page, you can find the option ‘apply’. Click the option.
• So, a new webpage is opened, and you should fill in the details. The details that are required to be filled in include an email ID, qualification details, or personal details.
• Then upload the documents required, such as the qualification documents, degree certificate, and signature of the required size.
• After online verification, if the candidate is found ineligible, he or she is not allowed to appear for the entrance test.
• Then proceed to pay the application fee online. Payment can also be made offline by depositing cash through the prescribed challan in the Nay branch of the Allahabad Bank of India.
• The amount paid once will not be refunded.

The admit card will be uploaded on the site www.iertentrance.in approximately 15 days before the examination. The candidates should compulsorily show the admit card during the examination. If the candidate has lost his or her admit card, then they may contact the IERT department along with their registration or application number.

Mode of selection of candidates:

The selection of the candidates is made on the basis of a written test and an online exam. After a written test, the candidates are also called for an interview.

About the Examination

The duration of each paper is 3 hours, and it contains multiple-choice questions. The students can score a maximum of 300 marks. An interview of 100 marks is to be conducted for students whose interview is part of the admissions process. For every correct answer, the students are awarded 4 marks, and 1 mark is deducted for every answer.
