The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), for the first time, for the academic session 2024 is going to conduct two separate examinations for class 10 Mathematics subjects under the upcoming board examination 2024. The two separate maths exams will be:

• Basic Mathematics’ 
• ‘Standard Mathematics'

CBSE has released CBSE Board Class 10th Mathematics Sample Papers for both versions of class 10th Mathematics. Along with the sample papers the CBSE Board Class 10th Mathematics marking scheme has been also released for both. This marking scheme will give the students an idea about the type of questions and the marking scheme, “Basic Mathematics”, and “Standard Mathematics” question paper will cover.

CBSE Board Class 10th Mathematics Sample Papers:

The topics given above will be covered in your CBSE board examination for maths. Each and every topic is important. For the maths exam, Algebra holds the highest marks, as the chapter is scoring one. Again trigonometry and Geometry are holding the scoring marks which hold 12 and 15. But the preparation for the Maths exam totally depends on the students as it will help them in gaining high marks in it. The CBSE Class 10 Maths exam will consist of two components i.e internal assessment and board examination. In which:

CBSE class 10th maths question paper is designed for both basic and standard versions of the exam. The design pattern of both will be the same. An increase of about 33% in internal choices in questions that were implemented from last year’s paper will remain effective for this year’s board exam too. So, this year students will have a number of choices to answer the question and gain high marks with it.

• 3 questions in Section-C

The CBSE Board Maths exam for class 10th  2024 will be conducted offline. The CBSE Board Class 10th examination will soon be commended. The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has made some changes in CBSE  Board Class 10th Mathematics exam pattern. For the first time, for the academic session, 2024 is going to conduct two separate examinations for class 10 Mathematics subject under the upcoming board examination 2024. The question paper consists of 40 questions that are divided into four sections, viz. A B, C, and D.

The Mathematics Standard Question Paper carries a total of 80 marks. No overall choices are provided. However, the internal choices are provided in some questions as mentioned below:

• 2 questions from the set of - 1 mark questions
• 2 questions from the set of -2 marks questions
• 3 questions from the set of -3 marks questions
• 3 questions from the set of -4 marks questions

CBSE  Board Class 10th Mathematics exam pattern  for Standard Question and  Basic Question Paper Paper 2024 is as follows:

• CBSE Class 10 Maths question paper will consist of 40 questions in all. The questions will be arranged in four sections, viz., A, B, C, and D.
• Section A will be of  20 objective-type questions carrying one mark each. Objective-type questions will be in different formats like MCQs, fill in the blanks, short answer-type questions, etc.
• Section B will consist of 6 short answer-type questions (Type-I) with each of two marks.
• Section C will consist of 8 short answer type questions (Type-II) with each of three marks
• Section D will consist of 6 long answer-type questions with each of four marks.

Note: Allover, the Class 10 Maths question paper will be of  80 marks for all 40 questions.
