BHU UET 2019-

Banaras Hindu University BHU UET 2019 entrance exam is conducted to provide admission to numerous undergraduate general courses offered by the institutes which are B.A., LLB, B.Sc., and B.Com.  BHU was established by the Bharat Ratna Mahamana Pandit Madan Mohan Malaviya in 1916. The university is figured out as one of the most renowned central universities in India. The university will conduct a separate Entrance Exam for both UG programmes & PG programmes, i.e. UET (Undergraduate Entrance Test) & PET (Postgraduate Entrance Test). The exam will be conducted in offline mode at 20 centres in India.

BHU UET 2019 application form will open tentatively in the fourth week of January 2019 and will be common for all courses. Applications will be available in online mode only and must be filled with correct and verifiable data. The BHU UET 2019 application filling process includes steps like registration, filling of personal, academic and communication details, and payment of application fee. A candidate can apply to varied courses, but for each subsequent application additional fee will be charged, though at a discounted rate. Admission to various courses will be based on the performance of the candidate in the BHU UET entrance exam.

Applicants must go through the exam pattern and prepare accordingly, as it is different for different streams and is also course-specific in some cases. Likewise, the BHU UET entrance exam for most exams which come under arts stream will be of 120 minutes duration (2 hours), while for courses in BSc stream the test will be of 150 minutes ( 2 hrs 30 minutes).

BHU UET 2019 Eligibility Criteria

BHU UET B.A.

While seeking admission to BA course the applicant must fulfil the eligibility criteria prescribed by BHU 2019.

Eligibility Criteria for admission to B.A.-

Academic qualification: The candidate must have scored a minimum aggregate of 50% marks in class 12th or in any equivalent exam.

Age limit: The candidate should be of 22 years as on July 1, 2019, and should be born on or after 1 July 1997.

BHU UET B.Com

Applicants seeking admission to B.Com and allied courses must meet the eligibility criteria. Eligibility Criteria for admission to B.Com. (Hons.) and B.Com. (Hons.) Financial Markets Management.

Academic qualification:  The candidate must have passed H.S.C. or equivalent exam with minimum 50% marks with economics/ mathematics/ commerce/ finance/financial markets management/computer science/vocational courses as one of the subjects. The candidate has to pass in all these subjects individually.

Age limit: The candidate should not be more than 22 years as on 1 July 2019.

BHU UET B.Sc.

The applicants seeking admission to B.Sc and allied courses need to meet the eligibility criteria stated for that program, or else they will not be considered for admission. BHU UET 2019 eligibility criteria for science stream is divided into two sub-groups - Bio Group and Maths Group, and both of them have a different set of eligibility.

BHU UET Eligibility Criteria 2019 for B. Sc. (Hons.) - Maths Group
  • Academic qualification: The candidate should have passed class 12th or equivalent exam with minimum 50% marks with physics, mathematics, and any one of the following subjects: chemistry, statistics, geology, computer science, information technology and geography. The candidate should pass each of these subjects individually.
  • Age limit: The candidate should not be more than 22 years as on 1 July 2019. The DOB of the candidate should fall on or after 1 July 1997.
BHU UET 2019 Eligibility Criteria for B. Sc. (Hons.) - Bio Group
  • Academic qualification: The candidate should have scored a minimum aggregate of 50% marks in class 12th or an equivalent exam with compulsory subjects as physics and chemistry along with any one of the following subjects: biology, geology, and geography. The candidate should be passed in each of these subjects individually.
  • Age limit: The candidate should not be more than 22 years on 1 July 2019. The date of birth (DOB) of the candidate should fall on or after 1 July 1997.

B.A. L.L.B Eligibility Criteria 2019 :
  • Academic qualification: The candidate must have cleared or appearing in the intermediate or equivalent exam with minimum 50% marks in aggregate. Candidates waiting for their result can also apply for the exam.
  • Age limit: The candidate must not be more than 20 years as on 1 July 2019. The DOB should fall on or after 1 July 1999.
BHU UET L.L.B
BHU LLB 2019 Eligibility Criteria-
  • Academic qualification: The eligibility criteria LLB is the candidate must have cleared B.A./ B.Com./ B.Sc./ Shastri with minimum 50% marks in aggregate or must hold any other equivalent degree with minimum 50% in aggregate.
  • Age limit: The candidate should not be more than 30 years on 1 July 2019.  DOB (date of birth) of the candidate must fall on or after 1 July 1989.
