The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) generally commences the registration process for the CBSE class 12 exam during the academic session of class 11th which is through the concerned school. Eligibility for CBSE Board 12th Registration

• The student who failed the XII standard can apply for the examination.
• Students who had completed a regular course of studies and had been allotted Roll No. for appearing at the CBSE Class 12th examination.
• Students who have appeared in class 10th or an equivalent examination from any recognized Board.

The date of the CBSE Board 12th Application form 2024 will be started on 30th September. The completion of the online form end date and the last date to pay the fee is on 17 November. The Board will release the data related to the 12th standard on the official website. Central Board of Secondary Education is a conducting body of this board exam.

Features of 12th Standard Board Exam

• Once the Examination center will be allotted, then no request for a change of examination hall will be considered.
• The center will be allotted by the CBSE Board, based on the current residential address of the student.
• Students will only apply for subjects that are auto-generated in the system.
• Also, the New Roll Number will be allotted by the Board, to those who appear in the exam. 
• Students will not be allowed to appear in the exam with the previous year’s Roll Number.

CBSE Board 12th Registration Fees 2024

This year the registration fee will increase in comparison to the previous year's online fee. The application fee will be hiked from Rs. 50 to Rs. 1,200. Students will pay the fee before the last date.

The Central Board of Secondary Education Intermediate application form will be available online mode only. The instructions to complete the examination form are available on the official website of the CBSE. the online form will not be accepted after the last date. Registration fee is also needed to be submitted along with the online form.

Step 1: First, visit the official portal of the Central Board of Secondary Education at cbse.gov.in.

Step 2: A new page will appear on your screen there select the examination type.

Step 3: From the various options, click on the relevant one.

Step 4: Now, enter your examination number, and school number along with the Centre number, and select the class i.e 12th standard.

Step 5: Next, pay the application fee for CBSE Class 12 Board Exams.

Step 6: After that, click on the ‘Submit’ option after reading all the entered details.

Step 7: In the end, save the final print for future reference.

Important Instructions to Fill the CBSE Board 12th Registration

• Students must have to choose categories such as Fail, Compartment, and Improvement of Performance. 
• They have to fill in the details of the student’s name, father’s name, mother’s name, etc.,
• They should have entered their accurate roll number, school number, and center number as given in their mark sheet for Board Examination. 
• If there will be any wrong information that will be processed in the application form then an error message will be shown.
• After the form will be rejected your fee will be forfeited.  

Note: Candidates who are not part of regular schooling i.e the private students also have to fill out the application forms online and pay via digital mode.

Steps to Register/Apply for CBSE Board 12th Application Form

Step 1: Visit the official website of CBSE i.e www.cbse.gov.in

Step 2: Choose the online application for private candidates for Mains (class 12th) Exam.

Step 3: Now, click on the registration for the class 12th option and enter the required details such as 5-digit School No., exam center no, etc.

Step 4: Now, make payment of your specified registration fees.

Step 5: After finishing your application procedure, click on submit.  

Step 6: At last, download the affirmation page of the application form and draw out the printout of the form.
