The Reserve Bank Of India has released a handful of opportunities for those who dream to work with the Central Bank Of the Country. If you have also dreamt of it, then here is time for you. The RBI has announced the notification of an Application Form for Grade B Officer with a total of 199 vacancies for recruitment of Officers in Grade B (General) DR, DSIM, and DEPR. Grade B officer post is considered to be the most highly esteemed job in the country. 

Every year, RBI conducts the exam for selecting Grade B Officers. Students across the country try to shine their luck in RBI. RBI Grade B exam will be conducted in three phases : 

  • Preliminary 
  • Main exam and 
  • Interview Round 

In accordance with the notification given Online Registration for RBI Grade B 2019 will start from21 September 2019. The last date for submitting the online application form is 11 October 2019.

RBI Grade B Officer exam will be conducted in two important Phases:
  • Phase 1 (Preliminary) and
  •  Phase 2 (Mains)  

Candidates who accomplish to qualify both the phase with minimum aggregate marks are then called for the next round i.e the interview round. applicants who are willing to appear in the exam are requested to go through all the criteria required for it. Eligibility Criteria For RBI Grade B Exam 2019:-

The RBI has set up Eligibility Criteria for candidates to appear for the RBI Grade B exam. candidates had to meet the following expectations:-

  • Candidate has to be a citizen of India.
  • If not then he must be either a subject of Nepal and Bhutan or
  • He must be a Tibetan refugee that is permanently settled in India before January 1, 1962.
  • To qualify RBI Exam an aspirant’s age must be between 21-30 years as on September 1, 2019. 
  • Age limit for candidates with M.Phil. and Ph.D.qualifications are 32 and 34 years respectively.

Educational Qualifications For Rbi Grade B Exam 2019:

Grade B Officer (DR) General:

  • Bachelor Degree with minimum 60% marks is compulsory as well as in 10th&12th examination. (50% for SC/ST/PWD)

Grade B Officer (DR) DSIM:

  • Should hold a Master’s Degree in Statistics/ Mathematical Statistics/ Mathematical Economics/Mathematics/ Econometrics/ Statistics & Informatics with an aggregate 55% of the marks. (5% Relaxation SC/ST/PWD candidates)

Grade B Officer (DR) DEPR:

Should hold a  Master’s Degree in Statistics/Mathematical Economics/ Mathematics/Mathematical Statistics/Statistics & Informatics/Econometrics from IIT-Kharagpur or Applied Statistics & Informatics from IIT-Bombay with minimum 55% marks

                                                                     Or

Post Graduate Diploma in Business Analytics (PGDBA) with a minimum of 55% marks. (50% for SC/ST/PWD)

To make a registration for RBI Grade B Exam, the candidate is required to fill the application form online from the official website of RBI. Here are the steps that you can follow to apply online for RBI Grade B 2019:-

  • Visit the official website of RBI rbi.org.in.
  • Click on the ‘opportunities section’.
  • After clicking on it, a new tab will appear on your screen, now click on the ‘current vacancies section’.
  • Now click the "RBI Officer Grade B Recruitment 2019" link.
  • Now, click on the link called  "Application Form".
  • A new tab will be opened asking for your registration 
  • Now, click the link for New Registration.
  • Carefully fill-up the form with details required.
  • Attest your signature image & scanned and upload your photograph in the form. 
  • Carefully read all the information which you have filled, now click the Submit button,
