SSC Constable GD:-
Being one of the most reputed organizations of the country, SSC organizes plenty of exams every year to select eligible candidates to various reputed post in Government departments/ministries. This year SSC has announced a total of 54,953 vacancies for Constable (GD) Post. SSC will conduct an examination for the recruitment to the posts of Constable (General Duty).
SSC will conduct an open examination for recruiting Constable (General Duty) in Border Security Force (BSF), Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), Indo Tibetan Border Police (ITBP), National Investigation Agency (NIA),Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) and Secretariat Security Force (SSF) and Rifleman (General Duty) in Assam Rifles as per the Recruitment Scheme formulated by the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA).
The recruitment process for SSC GD Constable 2019 exam comprises of Computer Based Examination (CBE), Detailed Medical Examination (DME), Physical Standard Test (PST) and Physical Efficiency Test (PET). All aspirants applying for the recruitment and prima-facie eligible will be called for written test at places finalized by the Commission in consultation with the CAPFs. Admission Certificates (ACs) for the Examination indicating the time table and venues of the examination will be issued to all applicants before the date of examination.

Exam pattern for written exam of SSC Constable GD is as follows :
- The online exam has Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs).
- The written exam consists of one objective type paper containing 100 questions which are carrying 100 marks.
- The time duration will of the exam is 01:30 hours (90 minutes).
- The questions in all the section will be of Matriculation level.
- The Computer-Based online exam will conduct in Hindi and English language.
